I used to be able to get 3 and 6 packs for about $0.75 to $1.50. Now a 6 pack is $3.50 and I can’t even find 3 packs anymore.

Because the number of chickens that were culled. Need eggs turned into more chicken, end up with les eggs, price goes up. Also the feed. Have to get more expensive feed options now since the feed supply was dusrupted by Ukraine/Russia conflict
Was their really a bird flu that mandated destruction of chickens, or was it a government plan to destroy a less expensive form of protein: eggs and chicken?
They seem to be telling you what they want you to buy by altering the prices.
A year ago eggs in Northern IN were about $0.88 a dozen, now they are around $4 a dozen. I used to buy the 60 CT boxes for less than $5, now they are $20 ish. I have my own hens now and get plenty of eggs, so don't have to purchase, but it's insane.
the dozen of white eggs at my grocery is like $6 The "cage free" eggs are still the same prices $4.59 and people snapping them up like hotcakes.

I've tried to go get farm fresh eggs at my local farmers market the last 2 two weeks but they havent shown up unfortunately.
If I am going to pay 6 bucks for a dozen I rather have it been direct like that versus the shit at the grocery store.
Well, there is no real reason why my farmers market eggs went up two dollars a dozen because they didn't have any chickens die and they feed them from their own farm leftovers. But they raised the price because they thought they could get it.
When i tested them for freshness they are not as fresh as they used to be so obviously it is backfiring on them.
And a néw communist Colorado woke law goes into effect on the 1st. All chickens must be raised cage free in Calirado...
