A parable:
Farmer Brown wants to sell farm to city slicker. City Slicker is a ventriloquist. FB shows CS around. They see the pig pin. CS throws his voice into herd of porkers. “Farmer Brown starves us. He eats all the good slop himself.”
They see the horse stalls. CS again ventriloquates “Farmer Brown doesn’t curry comb us enough. He skimps on hay and oats too.”
They approach the pasture. FB states preemptively “Them sheep are liars.”
With the Russia collusion/election interference narrative established it becomes the go to fabrication to cover any nefarious deeds coming to light.
“Them Ruskies are liars.” More projection, but it won’t work. Exposure is imminent. Accountability won’t follow, but confirmation of suspicions is still mildly satisfying.
