hospitals make money by keeping you sick
Healing is one of the Biblical Gifts of the Spirit. you don't think it exists any more? Jesus was a healer
You've missed the point. Of course God heals, I've been healed myself.
What’s the point then? I also thought the same as the guy above
He is calling out televangelists and superchurches that are clearly grifters.
Fakes. Benny Hinn is a total fraud, so are psychics.
once again, the Bible is filled with psychics.
you think that ability went away?
Wrong: psychics are under demonic control, Bible prophets were led by the Spirit of God.
World of difference between discernment and divination; one is from above, the other from below.
Downvote this all you like - its still true.
how would you classify visions, like Daniel's?
do you think some people still have that ability today?
Certainly not these charlatans we see around.
Lord Jesus was a different case, he is deity.
I used to follow Benny Hinn (the guy in the meme), and a lot of others on the Trinity Broadcasting Network.
God, THAT was a hard pill to swallow...
Glad you saw the light fren. Many wolves in sheep's clothing going through pious rituals and deceiving the flock. Just like the fake prophets of today who get more "Words from God" than all the OT prophets put together.
churches, especially mega-churches, are primed and ready for demonic takeover at any time. it takes constant vigilance by the congregation, with no sycophants, no pastor-worship, strict following of the bible.
it only takes one little inch of compromise for the dam to break and demonic forces to gain total control.
i was going to this church that has a pastor that preaches but also an "executive pastor" who is female, in stark contrast to biblical teachings. she leads a prayer at every service before the sermon, with this sickening moaning half-whisper bedroom voice. it makes me fucken ill.
then when the methodists had their rift they start having a serious conversation about what to do about the whole gay thing. they actually put it to a vote. absolutely shocking. i started attending a different church, a sizeable one that is very faith-based, very biblical, and does modern music, puts on a show yes, but isn't money-hungry, ad-heavy, pseudo-mystical garbage. tastefully dressed women included in the worship team but only for music. good vibes, tons of great people, congregation heavily involved in service with people being engaged in conversation.
livestreamed for the world to see, but if you're there you can just walk up to the pastor and chat after service, heck probably during service, he's not disconnected or insulated or busy. he floats around the room after service and will talk to anyone. and he features various pastors from around, not trying to be a one-man show at all.
no offering plate passed. the bulletin has a link where you can give online and it also has information for the donation boxes. my favorite thing is they have a drop box like a bank's night deposit box where you can give secretly, keeping with Jesus' instruction of "not letting the right hand know what the left hand is doing" when it comes to giving.
i have someone close to me that, at his church, he nonchalantly tosses a 100 bill in the plate every week, and sits right at the front so it gets in there first. I do enjoy the whole, passing the plate and putting big bills in that sometimes spur people into healthy competition, going hard for the Lord. at the same time i worry about possible envy caused seeing it. i've definitely been young looking at big bills in the plate with saucer plates for eyeballs, thinking of gaming consoles. lol
Or Hollywood super hero’s dedicated to ending human trafficking and sex rings. And if you see anything close to that in a Hollywood film, it’s always the Russia mafia behind it. Never China or Americans.
I'm from Orlando where Benny had his first Mega-Church, he was in tight with the Sheriff Dept. They do a lot of security detail for big money, and were doing his parking lots. When someone started poking around, God suddenly told him to move to another state, he did..
Before that I worked at a Hilton near by his church and this one family with several members in wheelchairs used to come whenever he had a healing service... After 5-6 times the father said he wasn't coming any more because they were never allowed near the stage... His services are very demonic nowadays.
Flash forward a decade and his brother Sam had a church in Sanford, my GF at the time got me to go twice, and they passed the plate around twice... Once for a youth pastor moving on to another ministry, they took up a love offering for him. I researched his salary it was quite handsome.
The other time they had a lady prophet, and she made prophecies for church members and told other stories. One was in South America where she said she prophesied a 1 million (Whatever the country currency was) I looked it up thinking that it must be a lot of money. Converted to 10K, but was most likely made up.
Also often when theirs a guest speaker, singer, whatever and they pass the plate around the speaker, singer gets none of the money, they get book, CD, Shirt money. Seen that in more than 1 church.... Oh and by the way Sam Hinn bought the church from Muslims who couldn't afford it, he rented it back to them for their use.
God heals and sends prophesies, but placing faith in man is a mistake. Now that the majority of the church keeps their flocks pacified for the Cabal, the Cabal is turning on them. Useful Idiots...
Go to church but try and use discernment eh? Jesus said many (Not a few) would use his name and know him not...
Its up to you, but worship is between you and God first.
The hospital tried to kill me for money. I'd much rather go to a holistic healer, thanks.
You also don’t see card counters playing in casinos—at least not long. Not sure that has anything to do with post but sounded good when I first started typing.
What are you talking about, just about every doctor had faith in the vaccine. It certainly wasn't science.
......because you shouldn't be "loud" with your spiritual gifts, nor use them to turn a profit?
If you are proclaiming God's message then being loud could be appropriate. As for profit - what do you think?
