May I also add that this article indicates sanctions have affected Russia as they cannot sell gold. They haven’t. Russia is NOT selling its gold. It’s stockpiling it. The world has no idea how much gold Russia has, but the idea of BRICS is to bring back a gold backed currency.

Silver is much better to buy atm. Critical stock shortages. Storage is only issue.

If you have to keep your money in the market (i e. 401k) buy Sprott Physical Silver (they have other funds too like gold, uranium, etc). Sprott is a very well known metal investor and the funds are guaranteed to have you physical metal in their vaults.

Please listen to me, its good to buy gold and silver for protection, but not for generation of wealth. Now, I am a short time buyer of 11 years, a little at a time. My all in cost is $23 for all these years. I can get $26 dollars today for all of it. But if you insert inflation into the calculation, I am down 35% in this time span, in purchasing power. It was never about creation of wealth, it was holding it.
