Why are prime numbers so important? 17 is a prime number. 2+0+2+3 = 73 is also a prime number. [2]0[23]] is 2 and 23, also prime numbers. What about other prime numbers -- 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19, 23, 29, 31, 37, 41, 43, 47, 53, 59, 61, 67, 71, 73, 79, 83, 89, 97.
