My guess is SCOTUS accepted to hear the Bruson case bc the house moved forward with selecting a speaker. That or congress is lazy and didnt want to give up their weekend.
They released an order on Friday already. I suspect that the denial was done and will be notified in the order to be released on Monday. If ti was such a big, hi-falootin' case and big deal, they would have notified in a miscellaneous order on Friday, like they did with the other case.
Interesting timing. The scotus could have been judging the case while Congress was not sworn in yet. Their fate could be sealed by the time the speaker was selected. Of course the senators were not delayed by the speaker election.

SCOTUS has not accepted to hear the Bryson case yet - that’s the decision we are awaiting on Monday
Could they have decided Friday but it wont be announced to us until Monday?
They could of even already closed the case. It was filed under rule 11, national emergency.
We didn't know Roe vs Wade was being heard
This is what I’m thinking. It’s already decided, but the military asked for the weekend to iron out the details of the game plan for all the arrests.
Yes
Certainly.

...timing is everything...
Praying for SC to hear this case! Very important.
If they hear this case I will eat my entire suit starting with the shoes and move up to my hat
My financial advisor said if the economy collapses and I lose my retirement money he will eat a shit sandwich and I get to feed it to him.
Hmmm, I think I'd pay to watch that.
I'm not going to join you, but I would certain buy a ticket.
They ain't gonna hear that case, or my name isn't Cassius M. McClay.
...tis...
