DeSantis would be a far better pick. Actual executive experience. Proven results in Florida. Provided he keeps living up to his potential, he's going to be very tough to beat in 2028.
Would also look at Kristi Noem in S. Dakota. Solid American patriot. Plenty of executive experience successfully leading her state. I'd put her as second in the ranks only because Florida is far bigger and more difficult to manage than S. Dakota and Noem hasn't had to face the all-out assault of hatred and loathing that DeSantis has over the past 4 years.
One of the things people think is that if a politician has a smart mouth and smartass comments for everything the Democrats put forward that this would make them a good leader. It's so far from the truth. Leadership is so much more than that. Ted Cruz, for example, would be an unbelievable choice for a SCOTUS justice, but he's never managed a thing in his life. He'd be a terrible president. Boebart and Gaetz have been fantastic activists, but their legislative records are still fledgling and neither have executive experience. Could they command the military, stare down the world's dictators, negotiate peace with historic enemies, manage international trade deals, all while battling an entrenched and thoroughly hostile bureaucracy that hates every cell in their bodies?
If we're looking for a President, we're looking for a leader. A doer, not just a talker. I want a guy like George Patton running the country, not George Orwell, despite Orwell's polish and keen intellect.
Jeb Bush had executive experience, as did his big brother. First, you have to ask how they got that executive experience. I still think DeSantis is a deep state alternative to Trump.
I think there are a lot of semi-educated losers who got on Twitter and follow people they hate politically just to vent their anger and frustration at them. These people enjoy trolling because it gives them a sense that they're smarter than other people when they come up with these stupid comments they post. I read some of them, and it's clear the TDS is STRONG with this crowd. Severe cases, some of them clearly not taking their meds or in need of a stronger dose.
Wow, the gloves are really off!

Super spicy! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Preferred Prez line of succession 2024 (or asap): DJT (VP Gaetz) 2028: Gaetz (VP DJT jr) 2036: DJT jr (VP Boebert) 2042: Barron (VP tbd)
Gaetz lacks executive, business and international experience that an authentic President needs. Both Trump sons have those skills.
I appreciate Gaetz's skill set and spirit which is a better fit for the House or Senate imo.

Good grief, the comments are 95% anti Trump/Jr. sad.
Still a lot of bots?
