Josh Allen for the most part is a genuinely honest and good person who happens to be very talented at his craft. While traveling through California after our nieces wedding, we made a fuel stop in a small town. Because we originally hail from WNY, I had a Bills hat. We were noticed and approached by a person who happened to be from Allen's hometown. He was excited to talk about Allen.
We learned that he is as genuine as they come. His family are farmers. Pistachios or pecans, I forget... the first gesture Josh did was to purchase his parents about 3000 more acres after signing his contract. The person went on to say that Josh is a hard working person with a great work ethic and cares for his community.
So when Hamlin collapsed and the TV camera panned on Josh, we (my wife and I) were not surprised by his reactions, especially after our encounter with this nice stranger who wanted to share his knowledge of the Allen family.
I think Hamlin collapsing was an opportunity for the light of goodness to prevail and bring attention to it. Damar is on his way for a full recovery so it's a win-win for the good guys!!

This did not happen at the very time he was cured of his blindness. We can be believers in Jesus Christ and yet we can always become better, more loving and caring, more Christian in our daily lives. May Jesus help all of us to become better Christians.
Unfortunately being a Christian does not prevent your earthly body from catastrophic failure if you choose to inject it with an unknown, potentially harmful substance.
