I smell something really foul here. In playing devil's advocate, what is the motive and what is the expected results? Follow along here and I'll reveal what I think is the motive and the end result.
Allowing Pence's attorney to enter his house means Pence had to know about it and approved it in advance.
His lawyer would have known where to look. I'm sure Mike Pence wouldn't want anyone rifling through his wife's closet or dresser drawers or any other family member's belongings. Not for a minute. Instead, his lawyer had to be directed (and plausibly) escorted by family member(s) to the location of the classified documents. Pence knew where they were. The question is whether this is all staged. It appears it is.
Why and how did Mike Pence possess these confidential documents? Playing along with this mystery drama, someone from Washington had to know Pence had these documents. All classified documents are (1) for eyes only (2) viewed in a prescribed place and time frame, and (3) supervised to assure their return is followed and completed. There is a strict protocol to be followed. All classified documents are meticulously tracked. The VP should have been notified for their return before leaving office. This did not happen. Was the protocol broken? Or is this a fabricated staged event as a result of the growing Biden document scandal?
Washington DC's standard method for getting rid of evidence is to destroy it. The democrats know this very well. This was an option for Pence too. Even if it was known Pence had classified documents, the lack of evidence leaves many questions. Like Biden, Pence could plead ignorant to ever having these documents. Pence didn't do this though. Why?
This means there's 'something' more to this case. Could Pence be attempting to make this appear to be a common precedent thereby absolving Biden of his crimes of possessing classified information? One report stated Biden had classified documents from the time he was in the Senate. Is this why Lindsey Graham is defending Biden saying its probably much ado about nothing?
What about Trump and his Mar-a-Lago raid? Are Trump's documents (which are indeed legal) contain compelling evidence against Hunter Biden and Joe Biden? Is the Pence and Biden confidential document ordeals an attempt to make Trump's documents go away? In other words, AG Garland decides to drop all the cases, including Trump's, due to the fact 'everyone' has been violating these protocols for classified documents for years. To fix this 'snafu', Garland will notify the FBI and Intel agencies that they need to amend the protocols so that this will never happen again. This seems to be the standard way Washington covers up widespread crimes. Oh and by the way, we'll just keep all of Trump's documents. The end result is Biden and his extensive empire of corruption is left untouched. Many RINOS and democrats alike are now saved from discovery. The corrupt system continues as it always has in the past.
To me, the scenario above appears to be motive for Pence entering the picture.
Totally agree. Just Human applies a logical premise for the entire sequence of events and his show with Burning Bright is top notch.
Small point just for clarification of terminology in your post: many of the docs in question were reportedly classified/marked as "TS-SCI" at least in Biden and Trump's case (haven't heard details on Pence docs yet) but you describe them as "confidential" which is actually another lower level of classification way below TS. Not a big deal, but using correct terminology in this area is pretty critical. Your main point is well made though. One question I would ask regarding Pence situation is what level of clearance did his lawyers have when seeking and finding the docs for turning over. I suspect they also may have already been declassified by Trump so Pence knew they were able to access them without clearances. I may have missed some of those details in the reporting today though so I'm still not making a judgement until we know more.
Thanks, for pointing that out. I was using the word 'confidential' in the generic sense inclusive of the classification. I should have more properly used the word 'classified'. Interpret wherever I used the word 'confidential' as really meaning 'classified'.... I edited it to the proper word 'classification. It's been a great while since my retirement having a security clearance. Incorrect public jargon tends to erode governmental lingo.
And you make a very good point that these documents were already declassified by Trump. Let's look at that. One thing is for sure though. We have to believe Pence knew beforehand that his lawyer was picking up these documents. Pence knew. He arranged for his attorney to pick these documents up. It is plausible that a family member was there to escort the lawyer to the location of the documents. If these documents were already declassified by Trump, this is a trolling exercise. However, purportedly these documents are classified meaning Trump didn't classify. Trump could have stated immediately that he declassified them. He hasn't said this though. The question is always what is the motive?
How does Pence entering the picture benefit Trump or Biden?
That is a good question. One thing I have been noticing is, there so far has been some distinction in reporting between either stating that the docs are "classified" as opposed to "marked classified"
I could be making more out of it then there really is, but I will be listening for that distinction and paying closer attention to who is saying it one way or the other as we get more light on it.
As with all of this intrigue, hard to tell if it's a keystone cop thing and all these guys are bumbling idiots or if there is more to it like some aspect of a devolution or CoG. Honestly, from my perspective, it's really hard to imagine a reality involving "devolution" but Trump has been involved with all these same players since at least his supposed Atlantic City informant days, so, who knows?
If by some crazy miracle our government has been devolved, then Pence would still be part of a devolved administration so he would have every reason to have classified information at his "devolved location"
Again, not saying I believe any of that, but that is another possible lense to view this all through.
I wouldn't trust many of these guys, but I will still take Chris Miller at his word that Pence is a Patriot.
Don't expect the Legacy News to know how classified documents work. Categorization is easily confused.
Just like Hilary's email server, DipShit Powell came forward and claimed to have had his own email server while Secretary of State.
I recall that! I'm glad you stated it because it underscores my hunch..
There is definitely something rotten in the state of Denmark.
hes gonna tell you in a few days that he declassified those docs Pence had and Hussein will be in a real pickle.
Hussein could say the exact same thing.
ya but hussein wants Biden gone and doesn't wanna exonerate Trump over the Mar a Lago setup
Biden holds a lot of info on Obama. Biden can sing. This is why it appears to me the value of Biden's life is running in the red. Biden to the DS and dems is more valuable dead. He can be martyred and used to raise campaign money for the dems.
Did trump give pence the documents that trump declassed and is Pense playing his role in the movie/spy game?
I don't know. Like always we'll have wait and see. Why did Trump just defend Pence? Another head-scratcher or a drama?
Here is the thing I wonder about is how Biden and Pence got possession of "Classified" Documents? How did the documents really get into their dirty little hands? To keep their hands clean did they come from Deep State operatives like the FBI, CIA, Obama, Hillary, Valerie Jarrett, Robert Mueller, Paul Ryan, Adam Schiff or multitude of other Deep State operatives? Inquiring minds would like to know!
To me there are 3 possibilities.
1} Pence has classified documents which on one way or another can hurt Trump, real or falsified. So he has them "discovered" at his house.
2}. The FBI and DOJ are searching for anything they can find to hurt Trump. And this makes them appear unbiased... makes it less like a witch hunt.
3}. This is all part of shining a light on the darkness
I think Trump played them into raiding Maro Lago, and the unintended consequence is the discovery of "Signed out Documents" being used as leverage to start a chain of events that reveals treason, which leads to vaccine crimes against humanity, which leads to pedophilia, which leads to election interference. . .
It seems you are mitigating and abating these government documents as being at the lowest classification or for (U) for internal use only. I am not referring to 'unclassified' documents, but documents that are marked TP and S.
It's reasonable to believe these documents are highly classified. There would be no news or issue with Biden, Pence, or Trump if these documents they possess were at a low level classification. Most likely these classified documents are Restricted Data and on a need-to-know basis with SCI and SAP implementation. Again, there'd be no hoopla in the MSM if these documents were low level classified documents.
The following are the markings on every document folder" (C), (S), (TS), (TS-SCI), etc., or (U) for unclassified. The U.S. government specifies in some detail the procedures for protecting classified information. At the highest levels, people sometimes must work in rooms designed like bank vaults called Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF). The U.S. Congress has such facilities inside the Capitol Building, among other Congressional handling procedures for protecting confidentiality.
Whenever a cleared individual leaves his position or job having previously been granted access to classified information, they are formally debriefed from the program. This includes politicians and Administration officials. The debriefing occurs to remind the individual of their lifetime commitment to protect that information. They are to then sign a non-disclosure agreement (NSA). This serves as a formal record. All of these procedures I experienced.
Yep yep. I was thinking king along these lines until Trump defended Pence and said he did nothing knowingly wrong... THEN I started to wonder if this was all stage by Trump and team MAGA to actually screw with any Biden defense. The jury is still out. Stay tuned. We will defend see
At this point, Dems are trying to replace biden and reps are trying to keep him in. That simple
Yes, it is that simple. Biden has the goods on a lot of Dems and RINOS. As long as he is alive, he is a threat that may sing. Maybe that's why Lindsey Graham just defended Biden for having classified documents. It appears they are in a very difficult situation..... I'll say this now. It appears Joe Biden's life has lost its value and his death is far more profitable for all those that are part of that game. Being martyred could help the DNC for the next election.
Normalize classified documents in their possession?
It's the Clinton method of claiming the scandal is 'old news'. This sets the narrative that it must be 'okay' because why didn't anyone say or do something about it before? It's really a juvenile excuse of 'no one ever told us this was wrong'. Moreover, the Clinton method here responds to the scandal allegation as a political attack. When others are found violating the same thing, the scandal now is expanding and becomes more difficult to prosecute. This is especially true when there's the element of 'Too big to fail' when it involves important government officials. Crimes like this are deserving of company. 'Ignorance of the law is no excuse' has always been the prosecutors response to 'excuses' like this.
Note that after the discovery of a personal server in Hillary Clinton's home, General Colon Powell came out publicly claiming he too used a personal server and it was rather common for administration officials to do this.
Trump has never given Pence a "nickname" like all his other "enemies", I believe Pence is a WH...we'll see.
