Garlic as a natural blood thinner - TDW
Is Garlic a Blood Thinner? There are two major parts to the blood clotting system: Fibrin and Platelet. Garlic can impact them both. Eating garlic, especially when raw is part of a healthy Paleo diet. Some benefits of garlic are lost when it is cooked, but...
Garlic is also an extremely potent antibacterial.

When I was young, I moonlighted in a kitchen for an Italian restaurant. The owner was an old school Italian. One of the chefs had a severe upper respiratory infection that continued after seeing a doctor and getting prescribed antibiotics. The owner had the chef come in to work after speaking to him about his condition. The kitchen staff was there when he dragged himself in. The owner handed him a small glass bottle with slightly yellowish liquid inside. He had the chef tilt back his head and he placed about three or four drops in each nostril. He then had him snort the stuff in. The ensuing dance was as comically as a Jerry Lewis film. Tears streaming out of both eyes and a blast of nasty stuff comes blowing out of his nose. The sneezing and crying continued for about 3-5 minutes. The chef complaining about the burning. After a while it settled down, but he kept a steady stream of greenish yellow snot flowing from his nose. The owner told him to go back home and take a nap. Since he could now breathe, it was far easier for him. He came back that evening ready for work. I asked what was in the bottle, the owner said it was garlic oil. It was a family remedy that he said came from the old country. I haven't had a cold like that before and it didn't look like fun, but 15 minutes of that versus four days of miserable sickness. I have always filed it away for future reference. The chef also said he couldn't smell anything but garlic for a day. I have also read an article about garlic oil being effective against Anthrax, but I didn't book mark that, as it was many years ago. However, a quick search of the NIH database found an article in reference to gastrointestinal anthrax. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/32853741/
Good against vampires too!
I eat that shit raw. Love the taste of garlic.
If you swallow a piece like a pill, it's not worse than eating a normal garlicky meal
Well have a fit about it lol
You’re a wimp dude
Just be sure the Garlic is Product of USA. A lot of garlic comes from Chyna.
Extremely easy to grow yourself. Ginger does well too, but it can get away from you and keep expanding. Both have very positive benefits. There is a place in south east San Francisco Bay area that has a big garlic festival every year. I can't remember the name, but supposedly is a large supplier to most places in the country. There was some speculation that they were importing Chinese garlic and passing it off as US grown, but I don't have any sauce on that. Simply easier to just grow it yourself.
Yes. I live in rural Mississippi where we do grow our own. I just mentioned for them thar city slickers. Kek
Pro tip: if you crush the garlic cloves and let it just sit there for 10 mins, a chemical reaction occurs inside the cloves which produces "Allisin", a potent anti-cancer substance. Heat and acid will destroy it before you can absorb it, so best to eat raw or with some salted meat
Ok, from now on when you pass a garlicky person on the street... you know they are either vaxxed... or Italian?
Either way, healthier.
I tried eating raw garlic and felt somewhat sick all day and kept burping it up all day
