People, some even on our side (not here really), think he is a narcissist.
He has an ego, but ONLY for his personal accomplishments. He NEVER highlights, brags, or even mentions, his numerous and generous acts of charity. From jumping out of his limo to save a women from being mugged, to paying off the mortgage of a widowed farmer, to flying sick children across the country on Trump Force One... how many acts of kindness do we not even know about?
In fact, the left is so triggered by his generosity, they've weaponized all the search engines on this very topic. Search for his good deeds, and you'll get bombarded with gas lighting articles trying to debunk them or false accusations on how he's really just a greedy thief.
If you want a role model on how to show pride for your accomplishments, but not be a douche, then may I present:

I have often argued that narcissism can benefit all if it's directed properly, because it's a part of drive
Michael Jordan wanted to be the best. He was an asshole to some.
They won because his"narcissism" carried them all.
If Trump wanted to be remembered as the best president in history, well, that's self serving if it's a shallow wish, but also take into consideration to be considered the greatest president of all time by anyone other than himself would mean he did great things for the people .
Narcissism often is a result of horrendous trauma. A need to self-protect.
Was raised by one.
I'll say, looking at his kids and how there is no outliers of fucked up children... I highly doubt he has Narcissistic Personality Disorder.
A strong personality, sure. But most of what I hear, especially those who worked for him, is that he's a great human being. Not perfect, because that is Jesus, but not a demon like Hillary. He woke up millions to the corruption. Narcissist or not, he will be known as the tipping point President who woke up the masses. This basically saved humanity.
Everyone has a bit of narcissism, perhaps not clinical.
The drive to succeed usually requires a certain amount of selfishness too.
I unfortunately share the pain of narcissist parents.
Awful circumstances to be raised in. I have a friend with parents like that - the things they say to him horrify me. Praying that God will grant you the spiritual wisdom to deal with the manipulation narcissists can put out. Anyone who knows a true narcissist, as you do, will also know that DJT is most definitely NOT a narcissist.
The woketards might consider Douglas MacArthur and George S.Patton to be “narcissists “, but we’d be in some real pretty shit without them.
So many acts of kindness...this is the real DJT.
He's a Lion of a man...push him and he'll push back harder. Yet, kind enough to let a homeless woman stay in one of his hotel rooms and send her fresh flowers every day.
For those who think he's narcissistic, i would answer no, that's Showmanship. In his realm you must be larger than life. He has the Confidence of a successful man who grew an Empire. Much of this I attribute to the Sun Tzu school of performance art. DJT acts narcissistic and ego driven so everyone underestimates him. He's Shrewd.
They walk into his trap. Everytime.
Yesterday in his interview with RSBN he was asked, "If you could play a round of golf with anyone living or dead who would it be?" POTUS answered immediately, "My Father."
Completely agree with everything you've written. For a fascinating and in-depth look into what makes the greatest president ever tick, I seriously recommend reading The Art of the Deal. Probably most here have already read it, but for anyone that hasn't, get a-hold of a copy!
I was looking at Tik Tok the other night and there is a video of him at some kind of food place. The lady at the other side of the counter asked him if he would pray with her. He reached across the counter, grabbed her hand and they prayed. LOVE THAT MAN!!
He's studied the science of persuasion and influence and uses it to get into a position to help others. No behavior is "good" or "bad", everything must be judged based on the specific situation where it occurs.
