People in power are always going to tend towards deviance because having power over others amplifies bad behaviors and desires to dominate in other ways etc. There is no better way to prove your power to yourself than by fucking a couple prepubescent trafficking victims while doing hard drugs at some fancy party on a private island. That's not something regular people get to do. And indulging in behaviors that aren't accessible to regular people is the whole motivation behind competing for positions of power.
And with modern surveillance, every single deviant act is captured, stored and recorded. And used for blackmail.
Normal people don't do these things because they have no DESIRE to, because they think raping chidren is revolting, not because they don't get to do it.
Normal people in power don't necessarily abuse their power. But psychopaths are more likely to rise to positions of power because they have no qualms about doing whatever it takes to get and stay there, whereas normal people aren't that ruthless because they have empathy and a conscience.

I disagree. These people didn't believe the authorities in media, government, medicine, worldwide, would lie to them about the dangers of COVID or the vaccines. They were convinced they were saving themselves and others, and those who weren't going along with it were believing crazy conspiracy theories and not caring if they put others in harm's way. They were preyed on evil people, terrorized to lower their rational response, and subjected to one of the biggest psyops ever pushed on us.
While that is certainly dysfunctional, it's more naivete than evil. Many of these people could not comprehend that so many people in power would go along with it if it weren't true, and they didn't realize the extent to which the media and social media were controlled by the same people pushing the psyop.
That's very different from raping and torturing children for fun.
People in positions of responsibility need to be held to a higher degree of accountability.
Everyone being equal before the law is s bunch of bullshit. Joe Dirt being a corrupt idiot asshole carries a much lower consequence than when the leader of the free world is a corrupt idiot asshole and the idea of treating them the same is retarded.

It is called Narcopathology, Narcissism and Psychopathology, and it has been pondered that by the time that a person receives ultimate power in worldly things, politicians, the filthy rich, they possess most of the traits, so you could say, the world is being run by them with ease. Not all of them are pedos either, they do other things with power, but mostly they manipulate us, its like a game for them, like the sadistic kid who thinks its fun to hurt smaller things than themselves, because they can. I used to think that, but COVID has completely opened my eyes.
About 70% of the population, the normal people, don't think anything is revolting except what authority figures tell them to think is revolting.
If they're told to hate people who don't want to put experimental genetic therapies in their bodies, then that's just what they'll do.
Now imagine one of the people gets a position they are the authority figure. What do they have as a tool to orient their behavior?
