So my father was telling me that my generation is lazy and doesn't want to work despite the same opportunity. I told him that I can't speculate on whether there is laziness on one side or the other but can definitely say that the opportunity isn't there.
I asked him how much he made working his first job and he bragged about making $5 an hour in a warehouse at Coors brewing. I asked him how much gold was and and after a bit of debate and research I found out it was $40 per troy ounce.
I asked him where I can find an entry level position making the equivalent of $1,400 a day and he shut up really fast.
It's been going on for centuries and the elite ruling class is afraid Trump will change this... bottom line.
Yeah, even places where employees bust their ass, they will barely make anything.
Almost a decade ago was my first job, and I was amazing at it. They wanted to make me a manager, and I was doing work way above my level.
When promotion time came, they said I wasn't with the company long enough to get any real promotions or pay raise, but they could give me an extra .13 cents an hour, and if I continued to work hard until next year, they were sure I could get a management position.
I left almost immediately after. Why work an entire year at the rate I was going, only for a chance at moving up, with barely any pay increase?
Situations like that have only gotten much much worse.
I had one boss years ago try and tell me my fifty cent raise was pretty good. I calculated out a few things and figured out that I needed 73 cents more per hour just to keep up with inflation. After I came at the office and him threatening to explain inflation to the Mexicans they magically found another dollar for my raise.
Nobody is going to keep me on while they tell me I'm worth 23 cents less than the previous year.
I change my prices contracting daily because of Biden and the regime. The same wire I bought last month was $50, yesterday I paid $100. No way in hell I'm going back to being a wage slave nowadays.
