You don't HAVE to eat bugs and use paper straws... any more than you HAD to wear a mask and take the depopulation "vax".
Just say NO. ANY food containing bugs should be left on the store shelves. Before long, stores will get the clue.
Just like the Impossible Burger or whatever it was they called the meatless wonder. People rejected it and the company is in serious financial trouble.
Our local supermarket had a section in the meat department just for "Beyond" products - it was always full, even during the height of the "supply chain issues" a couple years ago. I guess the store got tired of throwing that crap out because they now only have "Beyond" stuff in the freezer section.
Funny. I went shopping today and in the meat dpt, grabbed some pork products before I noticed a massive availability of beyond "looks like meat but its all plant" products. No one is taking this bait.
Yes. BTW, anyone know the ingredients to look out for that translate to "bugs are in this product" ? They obviously won't say "made with cricket parts". What's the FDA's code name ?
Right now I believe it's law to put those ingredients into it as they are. I've fortunately only picked up one thing and seen them though.
Easy solution by the powers that be; several in fact:
Remove the requirements to put bugs on the ingredient list
Raise the price of meat to a level that is unsustainable to average Joe
Stock the shelves with bugmeat and vegetables. Then claim vegetarians are killing the planet and implement a 3x price tax on vegetables.
Sounds like you're unaware of the food products that include bug protein. Look it up. Flour anyone?
