We invited a worship leader from SA to come work at our church in Canada and it took over a year and a half to get visas. I think there were 3 or 4 different applications.
And, I if at some point you want to make the move...frens here can start a give send go fund, praise a substantial amount to get you out and to a friendly place & on your feet Until or if things change & it’s safe to go home again. Political refugee. Great things can happen when we have faith! 🙏🙏🙏

I have a distant cousin, ex SA army. Born in SA to British parents able to get or has Brit passport.
His wife has Afrikaans heritage and his children are SA born.
He couldn’t get to the UK as she doesn’t “ fit” the model for eligibility.
He gave up trying 20 years ago.
