That's dismal. Would things be any more welcoming in Namibia or Zambia, do you think? My wife is from Zambia and from what I have experienced, their race relations are entirely benign. (I have heard that Zambians working in SA suffer extreme hostility from the native tribes. Envious/jealous of jobs they think should be theirs.)

That's exactly it...Entitlement!!...Our black population(And I'm always generalising because we also have some good decent blacks who can see things for what they are(Because they are educated) they don't go for the 'narrative' about white people keeping them down for example).....I work and have worked with Zambians, Malawians and Zimbabweans....Hard workers, decent people and not afraid to work...But like I said ...the blacks here have a completely different outlook....They are owed because of......APARTHEID!....Crazy thing is that its the ones who weren't even born or experienced apartheid that are extreme....They only happy with EVERYTHING FOR FREE....regardless...Electricity, water, housing, Education(University), food and allowance....Must be for free!?...If Not its the fault of the 'Colonisers' (Whites)....They always seem to blame Jan van riebeeck...(1652)

How do you think Cyril Ramaphosa will survive these problems (or not)? And will the popularity of the ANC keep trending downward in the face of hardships? Who are the partisans dressed in red that show up in Parliament? Are they ANC or Communists? When the ANC finally fails to provide the freebies, what do you suppose will happen? Starvation and temper-tantrum riots? I hate to think that way, but I am an engineer and am disposed to see where the downslope leads. You might want to find refuge in a neighboring country or the hinterlands.
