How tf are there 16 million still? I know it’s low for an awards show, but still… who is actually still watching this 💩?
The 4 - 6%....
Correct.
People don't realize that percentage is about 20 million strong just here in the United States
Math says 4.8% that is.. America. 331.9 million people
16,000,000 / .048 = 333 million

Heavy finger on the scale, I suspect. They can't just admit that nobody tuned in.
This, all fake numbers. Directv barely has 13 million subscribers, so that would mean every single subscriber in addition to all other cable subscribers would have had to tune in. Complete and utter bullshit. I'm willing to bet the actual number is 1.6 million and the Oscars will correct that number in the future on a Friday night so no one notices.
