For starters I been following Juan for awhile trying to figure him out and what I can gather is he is extremely knowledgeable about a wide range of topics. So much to the point that I don't believe he's just a pawn. You can throw any topic at him and he'll likely know alot about it. Nino is just bull in a Chyna shop. Juan is has two important assets. He is very knowledgable in Cabal history and Cabal symbolism and his history lessons are very fun to listen to.
