So, to answer your question, the 'correct answer' is the Truth. :)
I am so glad you said this ! u/simon_says recently created a beautiful analogy in his Series II which proves exactly the opposite.
Sometimes, you could have two different understanding of the same reality can are both internally consistent and externally consistent and yet completely opposite to each other. Both are "Truths" and both are entirely valid.
My interpretation of this is that Truth in its entirety is unknowable. You can make approximations and get closer to the Truth, or focus on that aspect of the truth thats applicable for the circumstances we would like to understand.
Not understanding this could be one of the causes of deep human problems.
C.S. Lewis uses the analogy of arithmetic when comparing religions.
Using arithmetic to compare religions is oversimplifying, to put it mildly. It would probably serve the ulterior purpose of getting everything to believe they know the "Truth" and their answer is the only answer, and hence further the Human misery.
I havent done much digging into C.S.Lewis and I am not sure where he stands in the Cabal scheme of things, but with this description I find him suspect.
Human beings are created beings endowed with the capacity to also create. Thus, our subjective choices and decisions become creative (or destructive).
So, when do you know something you know? That experience of knowing something is a subjective state arrived at by a fusion of certain internal choices.
Whether the answer is correct or not is something one can only every realize through experiencing "the correct answer". And, at some point, one has to acknowledge that believing in the answer to be correct involves a choice.
How do I know this is true? Well, I experience it as true. If we share the same experience, then we'll agree that it is true. Aka, the answer is correct.
Ultimately, how can we "know" anything? Only by experiencing it.
Experience leads to conviction.
CF: scriptural use of the expression "to know"
E.g. The man runs away because he is a hired servant and is unconcerned for the sheep. I am the good shepherd. I know My sheep and My sheep know Me, just as the Father knows Me and I know the Father.
The parable of the good shepherd is one of the most relevant truths for navigating these times. The hireling and the thief will not die for the sheep. The Good Shepherd will (and he did).
This pic makes me want a Hershey's Kiss....then I remember the dude they gave the women's award to, so I'll have a scotch instead. (It's five o'clock somewhere).
And don't wear it as a dress.
This quote actually brings me an inner peace I needed right now. Very poignant.
But how do you know which answer is the correct answer?

The truth is the answer which actually works.
And it's totally knowable....
Yes. Why has the DS got such a down on Christianity?
This is exactly what most liberals believe, because "which actually works" is relative.
By weighing the evidence on honest scales.
I highly suggest reading this Series

Oh, wait. It was a rhetorical question? Dang.
The parable of the good shepherd is one of the most relevant truths for navigating these times. The hireling and the thief will not die for the sheep. The Good Shepherd will (and he did).
Use horseshoe theory.
False advertising.
Not a shit post.
Agreed. C.S. Lewis is based.
I love guys you put the happy thoughts 👏🥰🕊

Yes, exactly or close enough, one or the other, or both !
