St Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle...
🧘Mental/Physical Health 🏋🏼♂️
Saint Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle; be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the Divine power of God, cast into hell Satan and all other evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
St. Michael, place your Shield of Truth over the heart of this nation. By the power of God, design circumstances which will reveal the evil in every heart. Make our nation secure once again through sound leadership and justified enforcement of law. Amen.
Lord, may truth and righteousness be victorious.
You pray to God in Jesus Name - not an angel! For goodness sake read your Bible -
can you give examples/where it says that? curious as Q posted several references to Archangel Michael, and I've seen a couple examples at regional sites/referencing Michael killing snakes...perhaps they're Catholic. the natives/mound builders used snake symbolism too & President Trump often reads the snake poem.
Every single time a person in the Bible bows down to an angel, said angel immediately rebuffs the gesture and urges the person to worship God alone. Angels are servants of God just as Christians are.
Q referencing archangels does not mean that we should pray to them. It's just symbolism and comms.
This is wrong, it depends on what the bow is for. Angels rebuked people who worshipped them, not because people bowed to them
We see people in the Bible bowing to and prostrating to people/Angels/things all the time
2 Samuel 1:2
Genesis 42:6
1 Samuel 24:8
Genesis 19:1
I can go on and on.
One mediator between God and man, not one mediator between the Saints and Angrls and man. This verse has nothing to do with intercessory prayer. Paul says the Saints and Angels surround us in a "great cloud of witnesses".
Hebrews 12:1
thanks/that could be, I saved all the prayers Q posted, will have to go back and read them in context.
also wondering about the verses below; have a connection to Kennedys/which are referenced often by Q- notice the Lord will have the voice of an 'archangel' and the 'trump' of God...
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
King James Version
13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
In the old Testament "the angel of God " is a reference to Jesus. This is a great place to start for understanding https://study.bible/courseinfo/22
There isn't anywhere where this is said.
We don't pray to Angels and Saints the same way we pray to God. We ask the Saints and Angels for their intercessions, meaning we ask for them to pray for us. We don't pray to them as if they can answer our prayers, only God can. Rather we ask them for their intercessions because their prayers are powerful.
James 5:16
1 Timothy 2:1
Hebrews 12:1
Why would you want a dead person to be a mediator for you? Pray to Jesus, he is alive.
Are you saying those in heaven are dead?
So now you pray to Jesus? I thought you prayed to God in Jesus’ name?
Gee. It’s almost like the Bible isn’t as cut and dry as many of you claim it is, and we need the Holt Spirit to teach us the truth of the scriptures no matter what they say.
They aren't dead, they're alive to God.
Hebrews 12:22-23
Hebrews 12:1
Luke 20:38
Funny cause St Michael was the one who led the charge against Satan and his traitors.
Weird how God could have done something about that but instead let the fight happen...almost like...he lets his servants...serve?
How are we going to defeat the evil one when we still squabble amongst ourselves?
We are not going to defeat the evil one. That is the job of Jesus.
Well we're supposed to be doing our best to help aren't we?
Pointing out the evil amongst our own ranks is doing my part. Praying to saints and angels is blasphemous and evil. we are taught in the Bible that idolatry is wrong. We are also taught how to pray, and that is directly to God through Jesus. No one and no thing comes between that. In other words, this is not a petty squabble.
Faith without works is dead. Maybe if Saul hadn’t bewitched all of Christendom with Jesus-based idolatry and the Christians took some personal responsibility to exercise faith and good works in the face of evil, the world could have been saved from these Satanists a long time ago.
First we don't defeat the evil one Christ will do that. If we want to take God seriously we have to follow His teaching. Jesus said Pray to your Father in heaven, not to an angel in heaven.
Jesus doesn't ask you even to pray to Him but God the Father, who did Jesus pray to? God the Father.
The only angels in heaven seeking your prayers and oblation are those who have left God for Satan.
Fake Christians are not ourselves, they are as much the enemy as atheist are, maybe even worse.
You're talking about a ton of your fellow Patriots here.
As a deist, fuck that guy. My belief in god doesn’t depend on a book written by man, yet alone one with 100s of variations and 1000s of revisions.
So? Regardless of their numbers or their patriotism to this country. Blasphemy is blasphemy.
God knows our heart fren. While I don't pray to angels I also try not to condem those that say heart felt prayers like this. Jesus knows where our heart truly lies. He will judge. Love u fren. God bless
