I like that old rule. It encourages the two parties to work together in at least some small capacity.
If our elections were fair, I would be all for the loser becoming the VP.
It's how the presidential elections worked for a time. Runner up becomes VP, regardless of party affiliation. There are flaws, obviously, but I dislike the two-party system where I respect but purposely vote against Democrats who have integrity.

The Democrats are going to primary Biden, their solution will be to run Newson or Michelle Obama. So, it is great that RFK Jr will be running for the Democrats to split their vote. Also, he will certainly voice a lot of inconvinient truths for the Democrats during the primary debates.

It would be an interesting twist for the movie if RFK Jr ends up arrested and charged with crimes similar in nature (ie baseless stupid non crimes twisted into an indictment) to what Trump is facing.
Would probably finally get us to the 94-96% awake that kept being hinted at as the go ahead with the cleanup target. We should have been at the target by now, but the TDS infection is very entrenched for some people.
I hope he doesn't run (this time around). I would vote for him over DeSanctamonous, but next time. This time is already allocated.
