I found it utterly befuddling the timing of his announcement. It is on the heels of a laughably bogus Trump indictment. Why would you announce today when you will get zilch for press?
Sure enough, MSM hits at him saying "Anti vaxer RFK jr announces challenge to Biden" indicating that RFK is a threat to them, not an ally. So I started thinking about why he would enter the race.
Right off the bat, you have to think that on name recognition alone, he'd start with around 30% of the dem vote. Perhaps higher. We know they don't want to run Pedo Peter because he is a liability. All the better if they do. But if they don't...who is on their bench that can beat RFK jr? It isn't Mayor Pete, Robert F. O'Rourke, or Kamala. So who do they run?
RFK can win enough delegates to carry the DNC nomination because he will clean house in red states that do not have mass mail voting. He will still get delegates in places like NY and CA. He will run away with it in the red states that they can't rig.
So what happens in the general? Who do they rig for? If they rig for RFK jr, this guy is out for blood for what they did to his dad and uncle. If they rig for Trump, he is similarly out for blood. It is a lose/lose situation for the DS. WTF are they gonna do?
Yes, this is spitballing. But right now I am thinking this makes the most sense. He can announce today and cause pandemonium in the apparatus. He doesn't need the publicity because he has name recognition. I think he'd mop the floor with anyone. And he might be the first dem I would ever vote for if some how a RINO wins the republican nomination.

I thought it would be interesting if a real populist challenged Biden for the Dem nomination. Someone who could really draw a crowd maybe like Sanders did. Then when Biden cheated to win it would be nice and obvious, and all the Dem normies would suddenly be on board with the election fraud narrative.
That too. I hadn't gone that far down the logic tree. But this is true. When more than just bernie fanatics get their panties twisted, it will be a problem for them. Plus, its a lot easier to nudge someone over the line in a 9 way race. This will be 2way...maybe 3way. That'll be nearly impossible to stop RFK from winning the nomination.

Damn... what if? I mean, we have to also think about a possible alternative to Trump, even though Trump winning in 2024 is the target. And by alternatives, I mean what some other Frens in here may be implying.

The only reason I wouldn’t view it as a Ross Perot situation for the dems is because Trump won a lot of dems. If he didn’t, he couldn’t have won at all. Those same dems might jump back to their side of the aisle if RFK is running on a third party ticket. It could really cause havoc in the electoral map for all.
Although I am sure I have a lot more differences with RFK than I do Trump, I don’t particularly care who comes in to deliver the coup de grace to the DS. Only that someone does so with speed, fury and vengeance. At this moment, I am fairly certain that an RFK jr v. Trump 2024 election won’t really bother me in the least as to who wins. The moment that lineup was finalized would be the moment I just lay back and stop fretting. And it might also be the moment that all hell breaks loose with the insane mob riots. Because that would be all they had left to fire.
I like the idea of a unity ticket, but the divide the D vote is a little too easy, and very much a mirror of what got Clinton in. If it's part of the plan, I'd love to ask the scriptwriters. Until then I'll hold on to my seat. If I knew the answer, I'd tell you. But those are my guesses.
And if he's outside the plan, it's a strange time to declare. You'd think right before Easter is not the best week to generate coverage.
