Two young people who fall madly in love…(and by young, I mean, like, 16 and 17, or even 15 and 16) aren’t always well enough equipped with adult functions to override their hormone drenched, intensely biological urges. It’s just so. I mean…think about it. Young people will still fuck even if it means they’ll be executed if they’re caught. Not all of them, obviously, but it’s a strong enough urge that death isn’t a fail safe deterrent. We can accept that pleasure isn’t the only reason for sex, but a pair bonding drive as well. Husbands and wives who routinely have sex display more love, tenderness and respect for each other than dead bedroom couples.
This is why self-control and abstinence should be taught to kids first, instead of teaching them how to have sex "the safest." FYI, there is no "safe sex" when sex is literally always meant for reproduction. Unless the man and woman are way past their prime and child-bearing/rearing years then pregnancy should be considered as a 100% likelihood.
