Taking the analogy one step further, we might say that hopium (like opium), numbs the pain, brings euphoria and escape from harsh realities for a period of time, but ultimately, does not heal, reinforce health, or rebuild the mental/emotional/spiritual immune system, and, over time, has a deleterious or destructive impact if ingested too much.
This anon coined the expression "Hopermectin", drawing on the currently relevant 'ivermectin' as a metaphor for informational content that, unlike 'hopium', actually does facilitate healing, reinforces the mental and emotional health, and aids recovery of the mental/emotional/spiritual immune system, because where 'hopium' (by analogy) delivers an informational narcotic, 'hopermectin' delivers (by analogy) informational nourishment, medicine. It helps, when taken in the right dosage.
In other words, hopium is fake, ungrounded or dodgy information that delivers a temporary euphoric release from the mental and emotional anguish that dark information delivers to our system, but hopermectin is truth-based, solid and grounded information that stimulates one to reflect, understand, and gain insight in a positive direction, thereby making one more resilient and better able to hold the line and keep up the fight.
Hopermectin is not for everyone. Common side-effects include:
Excessive calendar markings, typically in a two-week interval
Loss of F5 key on your keyboard and/or excessive finger swiping
Possible black pill addiction once Hopermectin wears off
Do not stop taking Hopermectin without talking to your frens. Sudden stoppage of Hopermectin has been linked to the consumption of black pills and dooming or thoughts of dooming.
Ask your frens if a lesser dose of Hopermectin may be right for you. Alternatives such as Hopedroxycholoroquin and occasionally Hopendazole for hard to treat cases may be required.
Note: Not sure of the side effects reported here are due to hopermectin use or perhaps used in combination with a conflicting prescription. I'm still waiting the for next study published in Lancet.
I think you have done an excellent service to the community by pointing out that there are, if required, alternatives.
CTV guest said "we have concerns of people questioning this election because of this mess- people did in the US. We want people to have faith in our electoral system and not question the results."
This feels a lot like Arizona where they might be drawing out as much of the fraud as possible. Hold the hand ballots back as long as possible and make them bring in the fake ballots in the dead of the night as sloppily and overtly as possible.
My question is about the ridings that only had a few hundred votes counted after two hours - most seemed to be in the Calgary REGION, which is the region that needs to become NDP in order for the NDP to win the province.
These also mostly happened overnight, like in my riding. When I went to bed at midnight it was blue. At 6am when I woke up it was orange by 200 votes....
I recall the 2016 election when all the smug CBC assholes devolved into children having a tantrum as Trump's win became less and less impossible. It was delicious to listen to over the radio (no tv or interweb at that time), so I can only imagine how hilarious it would be to see.
Switch to Hopermectin. You'll be glad you did.

Hahaha!
This was so good, I'm saving it as a meme. (BTW, this would make a great one).
Top notch.

Conclusion: bake more honey.
In a word: "GROUNDED"...great writing!!
Should I ask my doctor if Hopermectin is right for me?
Recommended by 9 out of 10 pepes!
Been watching it for the past 30 minutes.
I'm super sketched out with the counting taking so long.
CBC broadcasters have said "things are not going to plan. The plan was to have machine counting, but now we have to hand count."
Trying to stay hopeful, but I understand the hell that will follow with an NDP victory.
Oh no, legitimacy? We can't have that!
Right? They seem genuinely confused.
CTV guest said "we have concerns of people questioning this election because of this mess- people did in the US. We want people to have faith in our electoral system and not question the results."
Damn I hate propaganda.
And CBC hosts just repeated that same talking point... Thankfully the automation systems fucked up. It's gonna be a long night...
Exciting stuff up north!
"There's an investigation underway...."
Tabulators not working. Votes being printed?
"This is a major screwup..."
Theft is on!
Oh it's because there's no "automated voting"!
"Where are the hand ballots?"

How many of these went to the NDP?

And I'm sure you can understand why I have that question.
I note that the blue lead diminished somewhat overnight but not enough to flip the entire election.
They were hoping a few rural ridings would go orange to disguise their fraud.
I'm just throwing some Q posts with whole word CA match that seem possibly Canada related in case they jog any neural connections.

Shit y'all even have your own Durham Report, and it predates ours by over 100 years.

Sticky! Thank you mods!
Well deserved. Very exciting stuff. Too bad it hit at such a slow part of the news cycle for most anons.
EDIT: The guy in the sweatshirt at the top right of this four panel thing seems to be under extreme duress...
Is anyone on this network not in the bag for NDP? I take it this is the "neutral" NPR of the north?
Nope this is the state funded commie news. All commies.
The CBC thinks that communists are too conservative!
That dude in the black jacket with glasses has a really hairy chest !

Are they any good though? Or just cuckservatives? The CDP woman is just talking about reductions in emissions and more immigration.
Very based!!!
Thank you! Good News...
