I always wonder why they chose to omit indigo from their gay flag. Is there significance to the color indigo? Or is it simply that the 7-color rainbow is God's perfection and since 6 is the number of man (according to many who think about this stuff), that is just how Satan worked it out. Any opinions on this?
It is very significant, at least to me. Indigo is the color of the third eye chakra which aligns with the pineal gland and is a way we can communicate with God and the spiritual realm. No wonder they left it out.
Every time i hear it, i simultaneously can and can't believe they actually preface the message with those exact words: "it's time for your top of the hour conditioning..."
All right out in the open. Always was and always will be.
Ironic, because they probably hardly sell any of this pride shit to begin with. Unlike say, Mother’s Day when the greeting card section and the fresh flower arrangements get obliterated. Or any other regular, legitimate, normal holiday where you can see definite movement on certain products and goods, like Christmas, Easter and Valentine’s Day.
This pride shit is a scam, always has been always will be.
Best we can do is have a little fun with branded stuff and “misplace” items behind tin pans in the baking section. It’s a slower part of the store and doesn’t get reset by the stock people so an item can stay hidden longer and eventually have to be sold in the clearance section.
I think that's why Walmart doesn't give a crap about who they offend - because they are the only option is so many rural areas, since they ran Mom and Pop shops out of business. Kroger is probably a distant second in that market.
It's not just about them controlling the local food supply, or trying to. The line at their drive up pharmacy window is 3-4 cars long all day every day. Fortunately I'm not on any prescriptions.

My local Kroger affiliate was founded in my state and later taken over by Kroger. It has always been a good place to shop, up until I moved. Ever since then it has been so bad that it drives me to go to Wal-Mart!
There are two local grocery stores in my area, each over-priced in their own respects. I shop them, but it would be an enormous strain to do all my shopping at either store.

That's very intriguing; I'll dig into that. Thanks for responding!
The word "indigo" comes from the Latin word indicum, meaning "Indian", as the dye was originally exported to Europe from India.
so they are racist . . .
"The number of man" is a presupposition the argument hinges on. So....
My local Kroger still plays the covid propaganda on the PA system every 30 minutes. Appropriately named "top of the hour conditioning".
Some folks cant see the forest for the trees.
I make nasty faces at the cameras every time it plays.

I know. Yet the sheep just keep grazing....
And they never look up.... H/T to John Brunner...
Wow I didn't realize that, probably because I've got music blaring in my ear pods every time I'm shopping.
Correct. One cant control everything in their environment, but they can control a few things and make it just so. Love my headies.
Don't let it control you. Fight the pavlovian response to that particular stimulus. There's no cheese!
Pride perfect recipes?? like spirit cooking??

I agree, though it won't sell anyway! Just get it out of people's faces, OK?
Oh, there is a lot of fun to be had at Kroger
Yet....... we don't want to offend anyone with Mother's Day...........
I hate Kroger but I only have limited options (which I use as much as possible) in the small town I live in.
sadly the only options i have are kroger( ralphs and food4less) target and trader joes.

Got a new Publix going up right across the street from our Kroger- probably the same animal but at least another choice!
Fwiw Kroger is merging with Albertsons who already consumed Safeway.
Ugly cartoons
I comment that every time I get a chance. Dumbest ad campaign EVER.
They were all in on the masks, then all in on the vaxx, then all in on the boosters.
I’m so glad. I’m not in Arizona right now.
Also of note, they aren't pushing it on their Twitter. At all. Cowards.
Dang

What a pain the culture war is.

Also, I didn't get the email. Don't remember if I opted out of their emails at some point.
