Every means available legal and otherwise have been deployed against President Trump from the day he rode down that escalator. He's the most probed, investigated and spied upon man to ever run for office.
If there was ANYTHING they would have found it and I'm willing to bet my favorite pair of shoes, he never spoke of anything improper to his lawyers because he knows lawyers can be bought.
Attorney-client privilege is considered sacred when invoked by Perkins Coie law firm to protect Hillary from Durham's investigation.
You know...for our democracy.
laws for thee, not for we. how many times have we read that the FBI inserted themselves to protect the criminals and nothing has been done about the FBI?
OP, thank you for posting this. It was serendipitous for me. I filed a Bar Complaint against a California Deputy Attorney General. The Bar refused to launch an investigation despite copious evidence. I was working on an appeal for the turn down last night.
Thanks to this article, this morning, I was able to add the following paragraph: "Since I have documented that FTB utilized Ms. Barsegyan’s legal advice and services to further commit crimes (such as FTB giving Anna Barsegyan our social security numbers so that Anna Barsegyan could post them on the internet, Anna Barsegyan advising her client to violate our California Taxpayer Rights to hide evidence of crimes committed by FTB, etc), Ms. Barsegyan’s attorney-client privilege with FTB is voided under the Crime-Fraud Exception Provision. Without attorney-client privilege, there is nothing to hinder a full and complete investigation into Anna Barsegyan’s unethical and unlawful activities committed in order to cover up her client’s unlawful activities. "
It might be panic on [their] part, but what the article says is true about that privilege. If a client purposely is trying to evade the law and misleads their attorney in that attempt, then that privilege is null and void.
Now, I AM NOT SAYING Trump purposely misled his attorney OR the Nat'l Archives Office OR the FBI/DOJ. BUT, this special prosecutor certainly thinks he did, presented a well enough detailed case for that assumption to the court, so, the court hid behind the crime-fraud exception to require Trump's lawyer to turn over his recording.
Why any of Trump's aides feel scared about "sensitive info" about their roles being revealed, IF they followed the law is key here, I think.
It seems to me there are [DS] rats, or people weak enough to be turned, that are still on Trump's team. This may only be an episode being used by the [DS] and maybe also by Trump to weed out and separate those that are still loyal to Trump vs those that are willing to sell their souls to the [DS] thinking that's the only option they have available in the event the [DS] is finally able to remove Trump from the chess board.
Mr. Corcoran, who was brought into Mr. Trump’s orbit by a political and legal adviser to the former president, Boris Epshteyn, did not respond to a message seeking comment.

They have nothing.
As in Michael Cohen.

Gee, that doesn't seem like a setup at all.
Pres Trump and his family needs our prayers! PRAY, please!
