I havent drank much in nearly 25 years. Ill have the occasional draft at BWW watching a game with my brother, or maybe a vodka/cranberry at my sisters on the lake. Ill also sip a good bourbon at family parties but I never drink to excess any longer. Last time was my 50th birthday party almost 9 years ago now.
So I know exactly what this meme is saying. These days once the crowd starts getting buzzed up at family functions the wife and I pack it up. Drunks are annoying as hell when you arent one of them. Sheep are exactly the same.
Great analogy. I just experienced this very thing, this past weekend. I was the only sober person at the party; which is new territory for me. [I used to be the party.] About 70% are based normies, the rest are card carrying libtards. All make pretty good $$$. My fascination with this group is my inability to crack them to our reality. I think because they are successful in the system they believe that any challenge to it, is a challenge to their skill and ability, which IMHO is the opposite.
As "sudden" deaths start skyrocketing here in oz and people are oblivious or don't want to think they're next, I am truly struggling emotionally from our new reality of never ending death
And boy, being sober in a party can make you quite unpopular.

And I definitely resemble this remark.
Only parties Im at are when im partied up on RPGs. And I talk like Donald Trump the entire time.
Great analogy! POTUS doesn't drink or use drugs and that's why he's in Tippy Top shape!

They're beneficiaries of the system. Of course they're not interested in hearing how the system is wrong.
They think they are. It could be so much better for everyone. Even them.
That's correct.

I would take it a step further with that analogy.
You are not even at the party because you know that is where the drunks are at.
LOL!
Oracle: There is no spoon.
This is also true of people consistently acting rude or being an asshole. No one perceives it anymore. They think it's normal behavior.
Did you know that if you take LSD and drink lots of beer - that you can never get drunk?
until the lsd wears off
By time is wears off, it's time to go to sleep anyway.
Being someone who isn't interested in joining in with the drinking, I've observed exactly that. Like life today, it's also isolating.
