The people on this forum have gotten me through so very much with your prayers and the miracles that have come from them! My father in law is better we didn’t think he’d make it after his heart attack but he’s okay for now. On another note, a couple just hired my husband for a build. I won’t put their last name but they are Peggy Sue and Randy. Conservative down to earth Christian people. They just told my husband that Randy’s liver is failing. He’s never been an alcohol drinker, the doctors can’t figure out what is wrong, he’s 60 years old and I know they will appreciate all prayers. We will to. God bless you all!

People get transplant of a portion of a living person's liver, the way Garth Brooks did for a friend. The liver is regenerative. Maybe Randy will have someone who is compatable for helping him that way. God bless!

Food for thought for Randy; he is suffering from a "starvation conflict" which can look like many things, such as: A person can suffer a starvation conflict in real terms due to a lack of food. Hence, being put on a strict diet, not being allowed to eat one’s favorite food, a colon cancer diagnosis associated with not getting food through the intestine, wearing a colostomy bag, ongoing diarrhea, a loss of appetite and excessive vomiting during chemo treatments, or unintentional weight loss might trigger the conflict. However, a “threat of starvation” could also be brought on when one is – unexpectedly – in a situation of not being able to make ends meet, let’s say, because of the loss of a workplace, pay cuts, the loss of a business, bankruptcy, the loss of clients, an unexpected rent increase, an economically devastating divorce, the confiscation of property, the loss of savings, financial debts, or losing a family member who provided financial support. In short, the conflict translates into the distress of running out of resources to feed oneself and those one feels responsible for.

Does he take any diuretics? Look at big pharma meds for the cause. I got fatty liver due to hydrochlorothiazide.
There are other big pharma meds that destroy the liver. Check his med.s.

Praying for Randy and for Peggy Sue. FYI, my housekeeper's son had liver failure and died. He was never a drinker. The doc told them that it was probably from him having taken Tylenol all his life. We will ot give our grandchildren Tylenol. St Jospeh baby aspirin only

If Randy is interested in alternative treatments, liver failure can potentially be reversed. Both milk thistle and NAC can repair liver damage. Eating fewer meals and no snacks will also greatly help relieve strain on the liver and gallbladder, as will cutting out sugar, carbs and especially vegetable oils, which are deadly. But the best cure I've ever heard of for severe liver issues is intermittent fasting, people have cured terminal liver cirrhosis and stage 4 liver cancers simply through fasting, it can be that powerful of a cure.
