This simply proves this was always all about grooming children and normalizing Pedophilia. They are no longer trying to hide it, as they have nothing to loose anymore. The curtain has been pulled back and they are going for broke.

The Evil Ones think they are announcing a "call to arms" of a huge number of people who support them to surprisingly come out of the woodwork.

My theory is that many parents are increasingly afraid to parent their kids in the world of social media. They know deep down inside that they can’t compete against the messages on the platforms, and they can’t police their kids.
So instead, they go along with it, support any insane whim their child has, and even encourages whatever the latest trend is. It gives them plausible deniability and someone else to blame. “Everyone assured me that the puberty blockers and surgery was perfectly safe, I never thought it would end in regret and suicide.”
But before it gets that far, opportunistic predators can swoop in and claim the children as their own. The exhausted parents are more than happy to delegate the responsibility (and blame) to someone else, again, with that sweet sweet plausible deniability.

There is absolutely a solid essay to be had from this theory. I observe and interact with other parents and their children for hours every day. Dozens over the course of every week. Random folks mostly (I'm extremely extroverted), but many have become familiar faces, acquaintances and casual friends.
A lot, surprisingly the majority, are doing a good job with their kids. As best as one can expect at least. But I definitely see (by listening) a large portion of what you're describing in the minor and major failures I observe. These people (mostly women, bless them) are often twisted up over social media issues and the resulting exacerbation of typical, unhealthy, cliquish behavior as old as time by social media amplification.
Another huge problem is lack of dads. Granted, I'm a man in a stay at home moms' world, so I take it with a grain of salt. But a ton of these women are lacking in basic disciplining skills. A lot of them show very little interest in their children at all.
Again, it's a hard job. A lot of these women are burnt out and have little support from their husbands. It's obvious. But a lot of them fill the void with social media, and it's definitely an unhealthy escape at the very least.
Read a piece on life-work balance a few days ago that was published almost 10 years ago. One point to consider was if you were an "a-holic". Meaning vices of food, drink, but also training and work.
If this article were written today, it would likely include social media. And I would not be surprised if the parents you are interacting with have a lot in common with the above, especially the last sentence

Contrary to their current ideas, the government belongs to the people.
Not the other way around.
In California there is a bill that passed the house that says roughly, If you are a parent and have a problem with your child being lgbtq, or with the other parent trying to transition your child.., you are defined as an unfit parent and can’t have custody. They are trying to take your children! What if both parents don’t support transition of their minor child?
