This whole thing doesn't pass the smell test. Billionaire WEF's onboard; connections to Ghislaine Maxwell (Terramar); a toilet onboard; no seats for the billionaires?; Biden Admin. likely knew that this sub imploded/exploded a week before the MSM released the news yet MSM reported for a week how they were "running out of oxygen". And of course there's only "one button" & a blue tooth game controller that controls the whole sub. They are laughing at us.....
MSM giving this story 24/7 coverage yet they are all but silent on: (1) Biden Impeachment (2) Durham testimony (3) Hunter Biden laptop....
Exactly.
Things like this happen all the time. The medias power is deciding what and when to cover things. The BBC, I think, is half right. It's not a crisis of competence, it's a crisis of investment. We're invested in all the wrong things, capital flows are monopolized, and the slimiest middle men who were willing to undercut America or lie the most are the ones who've slithered to the top.
It's easy to believe this idiot did this and was getting the ticket prices he did.
And don't forget David de Rothschild was appointed to the OceanGate's Board of Directors in 2012. Nothing to see here....

Adding info. This is about the man who was fired and then was in a lawsuit with said company about the safety etc, etc.
David Lochridge is his name.
Thanks, frog πΈπΈ
This just goes to show: stupidity comes in all shapes, sizes, and bank accounts.
How true πΈ
We are turning into South Africa. Just at a slower pace.
It'll be hard in America to go full S.Africa or Rhodesia too many whites to prop it up.
The stresses in the pointy end are the likely failure location. Shit design for high pressures.
Nobody died in there
I bet it's a scam
Could be the case.
The design is still shit for resisting high pressure depths.
Watch the water, eh?
Reading the comments by that CEO in the email exchanges is fascinating. This sounds like a wannabe Musk or Jobs who was so dazzled by their accomplishments that he took one isolated ingredient of their success and resorted to magical thinking - i.e. that "Think Different" mantra is in itself sufficient to overcome the limits of established methodologies in an industry.
Quite a picture lesson for entrepreneurs in real world application technologies. You can't just put faith in the pursuit of "innovation", and innovate your way out of the laws of nature, especially physics. Nature is in fact a fickle bitch when you try to skimp on these kinds of things.
The now dead customers also don't get a pass for skimping on due diligence of the product they were sold. Charmed by CEO charisma while deluded by their own assumed invincible adventurous lives, I'm guessing.
It took over the whole news cycle so that Hunter's escapades were not even looked at--mission accomplished. I can't believe that people with THAT much money would embark on such a ridiculous outing in such a ridiculous contraption....but that's just me.
Or just plain FAKE
