Two things you can do that help stop the New Normal, New World Order, or whatever you want to call it these days:
- Stop giving money to people that hate you.
- Become your own master of food.
Not everyone has the means to make 2 a reality, but 1 is really simple.
EVERY credit card company out there has a hardship program. Call up your CC company, tell them how much your life sucks (recent car accident, unexpected medical bills, etc.) and they will close your card buy set up a preferred rate payoff date. I did this for 6 people last week I know and got them 60 month payoff schedules between 4 and 5%.
Their credit score is only slightly dinged, they pay off their bills, and their cashflow is significantly better so they can pay down faster if possible or they are no longer figuring out how to fill their gas tank to get to work.
If you can't grow your own food, there are plenty of no documentation food banks out there. Take advantage of them. You probably paid for them with your taxes, so TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THEM!
Use the resources that exist to exit your debt-ridden life. Don't let fear or pride stop you from saving yourself.
Good luck, and may the Lord be with you.
My favorite prophet, Julie Green has said that the thief has to pay back seven times what was stolen. That’s something to look forward to but growing your own at home has a big two thumbs up from me. Only real way to guarantee pesticide free. Local farmers markets are a close second to home grown produce. Buying ‘fresh’ vegetables from overseas is as bad as drinking Bud Light or shopping at Target.
Yeah, I try very hard to buy local produced goods. Denmark is very small (little less than 6 million), but we have quite a sizable agricultural production, when measured per capita. We are by far the largest pig meat producing country in the world, and are ranked in the very top with these other products: total meat (#1), cheese (#1), sugar beet (#2), whey (#2), milk (#3), potatoes (#3), rapeseed (#6), wheat (#6). Though EU and the rest of the cabal are doing their best to ruin agricultural production...
Other than what our climate does not allow us to grow, or for other reasons not produced here, I see no reason to buy from other countries. :)
Buy local and support your producers!
Most of the big pig farms in the USA are owned by Chinese.
Really? That's bad...
It started with Smithfield and snowballed from there
Please explain no documentation food banks. I've never heard of this. Thank you.
I think you have to visit them, call them or ask locals to find out their process. Some just want to keep track of how many people they help so they ask you to sign in and put number of people in your family. They don't care if you use a fake name and don't ask for id. Genuinely there to help.
As I said, I've never heard of such a thing. I guess I would have to do a search to see if they exist in my area, but I would have thought I'd have heard of them if they did. I thought perhaps they were a Danish or European thing, based on the OP's location. Thanks, Becky.
Thanks.
Some food banks require that you "prove" that you are impoverished. Others do not. Find out locally which food banks don't require papers.
I do intakes at a food pantry. I give out a list of other pantries in the area so they can supplement. One of them is a Spanish church and there is a long line of cars every Wednesday. Pull up and they give you food.
Excellent advice, OP.
Just put in more plants in the ground last night that are grown at a local farm. I have a nice fence that I'm putting to work as a raspberry trellis.
"gardening is easy". My tomatoes grew wild in the prior property....here I can't do sh1t ATM. After research I think I need to increase calcium. I just need a veggie gardener willing to barter for meat. I'm good at making animals fat 😅🤣
Years ago I picked up a hillbilly cookbook with pretty believable recipes for rabbit, birds of all sorts, squirrels, even possums. Maybe look'em up and download to print now, alone with some trap-building instructions and pick up some bb guns? Half-kek
I used to agree with that philosophy until I learned who controls the (((scores))) and who controls (((insurance))).
It's all just numbers on a screen. I no longer make purchasing choices based on fear. Fear isn't from God. I get whatever is needed for my family, despise inflation.
Knowing our money isn't worth shit, why would I give money more authority over my life's choices than in trusting in God's plan for me to fulfill my purpose in the here and now?
Not sure why someone downvoted your poast because it was pragmatic for those who haven't already obtained key resources and access to large amounts of credit.
I was agreeing with you.
Not to mention your insurance cost rises as your credit score lowers.
Also car loans and mortgage rates are higher...
Don't know why this got down voted. When you apply for insurance a credit check is done to figure out the premium you will pay. This is part of the underwriting process where the company looks at how many accidents you have been in, moving violations, etc.
There are those kinda people here also
Lol as if insurance costs ever go down! Hahaha! Omg thanks for the laugh!
Right..
