There are More requirements then seeking peace. Many men seek to bring peace. The anti Christ will be well liked I believe it says and will deny Christ. Amongst other things. Yes be cautious but also don't let seeking to have peace turn someone Into any anti Christ.
I'm praying for you. Revelation studies tend to get dark and bring down people. Make sure u are spending time reading positive stuff as well. Like the gospels maybe. Also remember the message of revelation is not the anti Christ or seeking to figure out who it is. The message is to remain in faith to Christ till the end. Whatever that may be. Jesus will come and he protects his flock

I sent the story to my Bible study leader. Here’s what she returned to me.
AC -antichrist
HS -Holy Spirit
Israel has been crying for peace for centuries. And yes, some day, someone, the future AC, will bring peace to the whole world with a signed, 7 yr contract between him and Israel. And we will be out of here before that happens.
Because of our HS, will recognize him. An uneasiness. And 2 Thess tells us, the AC to be, can’t begin operations until the HS is out of here. That’s us.
No one knows the who-who. But be watchful. Could be anyone.
But people like Hal Lindsey and other prophecy teachers, say, he’ll come out of the Roman Empire. The empire of Johns day or at its zenith when the empire went to the UK.
More mid-eastern? And he’ll be a gentile.
I was told to always keep you eye on Israel for events to come. And a rabbi there, is claiming to be the messiah, and doing miracles? Satan can do strange things too don’t forget.
Again, just be watchful. Keep the oil lanterns burning.
Oh, I agree with everything you just said. I’m not painting of wide brush, stroke. I’m just saying.
Also, I don’t find the book of revelation to be dark at all. We’ve been going through it with a fine tooth comb, and to be perfectly honest… I love studying this book. There is a lot to learn, and there’s a lot of mystery still there. But it’s been really interesting and the woman who’s doing the study really loves the Lord and is a great teacher and leader.
I am from the school of pre-TRIB. So I do not fear of the book of revelation, it literally states that if you study that book you will be blessed! So knowing that I will not be here during that time, makes it a much more enjoyable study.
But yes, I do feel bad for people who will be left behind, because they’re going to have a hard life for seven years. One of my plans is to get a Bible for my daughter, and leave her instructions in the event she is left behind. She was raised a Christian, and hopefully she will come back to the Lord. I don’t know if she truly ever accepted him because she completely denies Christ now. But I will be leaving a letter for her in a Bible, so she’ll know what to do when the time comes.
In the meantime, I’m praying for her salvation, so she doesn’t have to go through that horrific time.
Thank you for the encouragement and admonishment! Yes, I know there are a lot more other requirements for the antichrist, but I just find it interesting that Israel is crying, peace, peace, and the antichrist is supposed to bring peace to this world. But yes, they will deny Christ and Donald Trump does has not done that. Yet!
Have u ever looked Into the other camps (interestingly they all have scripture to support) or the cons of pre trib just curious
Shouldbt we seek to walk with Christ in such a way that we could endure the tribulation or anything thrown at us. Rather then just say oh we won't have to. Remember it's called the "Revelation of Jesus Christ" told to John in the spirit.
Just providing some counter thoughts hope they aren't taken negatively. Oh and I love that u wanna leave her a note.
Does it really matter what I think? No! God’s going to do with God’s going to do. Whether I’m taken in the clouds, or left here to suffer for another seven years, it really doesn’t matter what I think.
This is the way I look at it…
We are the bride of Christ! I know Christ is a gentleman, and I can’t imagine him, wanting to beat up his bride - before she gets there.
Those last seven years on earth are going to be horrific, and I can’t imagine Christ putting his church, his believers, through such horrific times. Also… If the Holy Spirit is removed at that time, then how can we be here. The Holy Spirit lives in us.
I find it fascinating that people would want to stay here and suffer longer, like we haven’t had enough suffering already. It’s almost as if we are used to the abuse now, and now people think that we deserve it and should stay longer for that last seven years so we could be as miserable as possible.
We don’t need to suffer to earn salvation. Works are great, and they are a fruit of our salvation, however, on the cross, he did say it is finished. I rest in that daily.
You know me, I’m not an optimist. But on this one thing, I’m standing my ground.
But really, it doesn’t matter what we think. God’s gonna do what he’s gonna do. Just like today and always.
NO ONE CAN STOP WHAT IS COMING.
This is a biblical reference, though, because it doesn’t matter what I think. It matters what his word says.
Two places. 2 Thess 2: 6-12. And Rev 3:10 Jesus Himself promises us that we will not have to go through the time (hour) of testing.
There’s more, but I’m sure you have other scriptures to refute mine. And then we could argue about it, and it wouldn’t matter what we think anyway.
And no, I’m not bothered that you are questioning my theology. This has been an age old question for centuries. Even the greatest theologians argue about this. You get to think what you wanna think, and I’ll think what I think, and in the end… It doesn’t matter. God’s gonna do with God’s gonna do.
🤣😂🤣😂👏👏👏
Romans 12:2
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”
12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
“He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son.” (Colossians 1:13)
“Set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.” (1 Peter 1:13)
“But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.” (Philippians 3:20-21)
Not gonna dispute anything you said just sharing some verse that I keep close to heart. It's important everyone keep seeking and come to truth on there own
All throughout the bible God poured out his wrath while also keeping his people safe. 😁
If Revelation studies get dark, they're reading the entire book incorrectly. Typically this means a futurist interpretive lens is assumed. Figurative language and symbolic numbers are all taken literal. Timelines are concocted on questionable interpretive methods. Present circumstances (every generation!) get shoe-horned into the text, etc etc.
Revelation was written to audiences who were already undergoing dark experiences, and the motivation for the visions and letters that make up Revelation was to bring encouragement and joy. Its essentially the state of affairs on earth and in the Church from heaven's point of view. No greater comfort.
Yes I personally have felt breif moments of heaven as if I am starting through a glass darkly. I have a very intimate relationship with Jesus in soul+mind+body. He is my best friend.
I agree to a degree. I have talked to many different people with different views on the book. Yes it gets dark because they take there focus off the fact it's called the Revelation of Jesus Christ. Hallelujah Praise Jesus. We love u
Well let’s see, who appears at the second coming? Christ and all these angels, yeah? Who do see when you die? Christ, abc all his angels, yeah? Good people go where and bad people go where during the second coming? And what happens to people when they die?
Christ was clear he wasn’t coming back physically, and to watch out for anyone who said he had or was, and yet he made it very clear his disciples would be seeing him soon enough, right?
Did he lie? No. More likely than not, the scripture was altered or misunderstood. Christian obsession with the last days and the second coming and the tea leaf reading they engage in at sunday school with the book of revelation has been going on quite a bit long enough for me thank you very much.
You want a prophecy that hasn’t come true yet? Read Habakkuk. If you want an end times prophecy that likely still applies and that we can actually look forward to and work toward? That’s where you should be looking if you ask me.
There are More requirements then seeking peace. Many men seek to bring peace. The anti Christ will be well liked I believe it says and will deny Christ. Amongst other things. Yes be cautious but also don't let seeking to have peace turn someone Into any anti Christ.

You are correct. Covenant theologians and others reject the rapture happening and for the purpose of removing the bride from the hour of testing.
They have the desire to remain in the earth because it is like a refinement in their eyes. But the reality is this:
The judgment was created by God as judgment upon unbelievers. The purpose is to, wait for it: ….Judge unbelievers!

Do u believe in the literal second coming?
Yes I personally have felt breif moments of heaven as if I am starting through a glass darkly. I have a very intimate relationship with Jesus in soul+mind+body. He is my best friend.
I agree to a degree. I have talked to many different people with different views on the book. Yes it gets dark because they take there focus off the fact it's called the Revelation of Jesus Christ. Hallelujah Praise Jesus. We love u
Correct. Revelation was fulfilled already. Ages ago. We have our own story to fulfill now.
The anti-Christ prophecy was fulfilled two millennia ago. Revelation is a history book now, not a prediction.
So u don't believe in a second coming?
Well let’s see, who appears at the second coming? Christ and all these angels, yeah? Who do see when you die? Christ, abc all his angels, yeah? Good people go where and bad people go where during the second coming? And what happens to people when they die?

I'm gonna have to re read Habakkuk I'm interested what u meant by that. Would u be willing to share more
