If you buy a used one and do your own maintenance Toyota gets nothing out of you. FYI manufacturers only get paid on new purchase and oem parts sold. Something breaks go ahead and replace it with aftermarket parts. You still get the most reliable brand without contributing to the woke agenda.
Even if it’s from a dealership, as long as it’s used and not new the manufacturer makes zero dollars from the sale. All used inventory is either purchased by the dealership or taken in as trades, this is the dealership owning the stock and not the manufacturer because it’s a privately made deal already. But I do agree, probably best to buy from a private citizen vs dealership.
Wrong. When you buy a used Toyota you are inflating the used market value for that brand. Many people buy new Toyotas knowing it holds resell value well.
Is there a car company that doesn't support globalist bs?
There is only a single car company in the world. There is only a single Corporation in the world. There is no place you can go where someone "doesn't support the WEF." They are all the same entity.
You can't "not support them," it's impossible. The best you can do is expose them, expose the fraud.
Do what you can with what you have, and work towards bringing down the Cabal. As other's have suggested, buying used (cars and parts) reduces (but doesn't eliminate) that support. It's really the best you can do.
The longer you can wait, the better deal you will get no matter what kind you're buying. They are all losing their asses right now because sales of both new & used cars have been horrible and at the end of the year, they will have to pay taxes on everything still on their lots.
Any electric vehicle should be good for you, me, the planet, congress, the Bidens, illegals, and our public school children. Good luck in your purchase. /s
Fox body mustangs are good too. And that Taurus that had the same modular 5.0 in it. Jeep grand Cherokee with the inline 6 is reliable, Toyota landcruiser from any generation is reliable.. lots of options out there
That’s a good car, easy to work on. Plenty of space in the engine bay to do your own work. Down side it’s heavy as hell and sucks a lot of gas. But you can always put in a LS engine of your choice and save some gas.
Well, OP was talking about non-woke. Kit cars are guaranteed to not be big corporate behemoths, so that's why I suggested it.
As far as safety, they aren't all hot rods: there is a large variety of kit cars, and I'm sure you can find one with a satisfactory safety rating. Plenty of room for individual tastes.
I disagree. Better for him to buy a well maintained used Toyota or Honda that can last him a lifetime. Corporate still gets nothing out of a used sale unless he buys oem replacement parts, in which case buying 300 bucks worth of parts for preventive maintenance is nothing compared to a 30k+ purchase on a new car, truck or suv

Exactly what I was gonna say. Buy from a private party.

Eww
/s = sarcasm, almost missed it myself. I was all ready to lecture him on the evils of electric cars. Haha
Nice catch. Definitely sarcasm. I drive a six cylinder 13 year old gas-guzzling vehicle. Love it!
Thanks, I didn't know that's what that meant.
1985 Buick
'85-'87 Buick Grand National. ;)
One of the best cars of the 80s.

What about the 1985 Caprice Classic?

Century Limited, 2.5 Iron Duke Inline 4, 4 Speed OD Auto.
Comfortable, reliable, cheap, 30 mpg all day long...
Nice car, worthy of repairs, far better than making payments.
Build a DeLorean
Could look into kit cars. Even if you don't have the garage space to put it together, a local mechanic could do it.
Why, kit cars are the least safe cars on the road.
