Where’s the dome?! Good lord we’re all going to suffocate
You know, this is actually a great question.
If there is no solid, air tight, structure between the deadly vacuum of space and our atmosphere, then why doesn’t the vacuum of space simply suck our atmosphere right out? What’s “holding” our atmosphere “in?”
Vacuums do not suck. Air pressure pushes from high pressure to low pressure. The air pressure of earth’s atmosphere is restrained by earth’s gravity. No dome or vapor canopy required.
Imagine not believing that air behaves the way it does given the evidence of (even homemade!) vacuum chambers, as well as helium-filled balloons (pressure differential causing a buoyant force)
You know, it's really not a good look when people reject scientific knowledge on the basis of religion, when it was religious people who initially asked questions like these and sought the answers.
If God created everything, why are you so silly to think gravity wouldn't be a construct too? They are not mutually exclusive.
Do you not understand how much things would fall apart if gravity did not exist?
Everything that happens on earth is influenced by earth’s gravity. Every force acting in a system must be accounted for, whether you like it or not.
Complaining about the ubiquity of gravity is not an argument against its existence or known properties. You may as well complain about the Sun putting out so much light.
They know now that there are massive amts of water UNDER the Earth's surface. And fountains from it on the ocean floor are mentioned in Genesis. That is the "water below". "The water above", is our oceans on the surface. We are on the land between the water below and water above. But that is where the flat Earthers got their misconstrued notions.
100% this. Flat earthers try so hard to find justification for their firmament or dome in the sky, failing to realize that they’re standing on its remains.
Basically, long story short, everything leads back to…a creator. Nothing doesn’t create something. Go ALLLL the way back…there has to be something or someone who started all this. And that person is infinite. No beginning, no end. God. And Jesus is His name.
You do not have to reject science to believe in God. Science is uncovering the rules and laws set by God for the people who inhabit this existence, and coming to understand them.

The firmament above. It separates the water above from the waters below - at least that's what the Bible says.
And…?
Christ is.
He is the reason all things hold together!
Colossians 1:17

It’s funny how the vacuums that people think of when they imagine vacuums sucking, aren’t even true vacuums. (They don’t have empty space inside)
Imagine believing this.

Magic gravity again. It just seems like the answer to so many fantastic cosmological conundrums 🤷♂️
Gravity is not magic. It is a law of physics.

Ballistics anyone? Drop your phone. Gravity is real. It’s not fully understood, but it’s testable, quantifiable, and constant. End Transmission.
It's an attractive theory.
So all those satellites orbiting the planet bypassed this dome and stay up there..how then?

Chris Christie (Krispy Christie) is. His fat ass sits right atop our atmosphere.
We actually suffocate if the dome doesn't exist. You can see the space x rocket skidding across the dome.
Gravity
Then where did gravity come from?
Basically, long story short, everything leads back to…a creator. Nothing doesn’t create something. Go ALLLL the way back…there has to be something or someone who started all this. And that person is infinite. No beginning, no end. God. And Jesus is His name.
That creator must exist outside of matter, space, time and energy in order to bring those things into existence - and be extremely intelligent.
Yes and yes.
You do not have to reject science to believe in God. Science is uncovering the rules and laws set by God for the people who inhabit this existence, and coming to understand them.
Who said anything about rejecting science?
Gravity can do so many tricks, can’t it?
It's almost like you could simply replace the word gravity with magic and it'd still have the same effect.
