We (freedom loving people) are incapable of forcing another person to not be a fool. We are taught not to call others a fool. Mathew 5:22. This is something they advertise to others by doing.
We can pity the fool.
That is not claiming a fool is a fool.. is recognizing who fools are and still loving them.
I know it’s hard because of how badly some behave are… But we need to remember the vast majority of those who are transitioning are very unwell people who are not only without proper support, but have an entire medical system that views them as a lifetime customer and will lie and market every chance they get.
I wasn’t a victim of that type, but I have had doctors do life ruining damage beginning when I was a teen. Do not dismiss amount of say/sway the doctors have over a person in crisis, especially those under 18.
I have two now adult daughters. During adolescence they were self-conscious about their changing bodies (totally normal at that stage). They were, and are naturally modest, as am I. I cringe when I see what SO many young women, including teenagers, are wearing at the beach. String bikinis, boobs hanging out, etc.,. Modesty in dress is really no longer a thing, though I believe most young girls don't actually like dressing with it all hanging out, and would feel more secure and comfortable in clothes with better coverage.
One of the lines boys will use on girls, and I know because my friend's daughter came home crying and screaming at her, years ago, is that the boys were calling her a lezzy because she would not give a boy she had a crush on a blow job, and her mom did not let her wear make up or revealing clothes "like the other girls". The kid was sobbing, saying they were calling her queer and lezzy etc because of her modesty and refusal to have sex, she had told someone she had a crush on this guy, he heard about it, propositioned her, and when she said no and had her heartbroken, he told all his friends. Well she is all grown up now with a husband and two kids, her son recently joined the navy, and she is okay. But some teenagers are cruel and mean.
It was everyone's fault...but hers. I get the pressures, etc. How does someone even entertain the idea the solution to whatever is to...change gender? As we have this wave of victims come forward, I hope it's not entirely lost the human spirit is broken and sinful, and the heart entertains things outside of the realm of God because of rebellion.
And, ultimately, it's all in His hands and everyone who is responsible will face whatever justice He decides. From the individual to the family to the doctors to the Pharma companies to the liberals, LGBTQs, the politicians, etc. THAT'S the battle that has been won already.
We haven't really heard yet about the long-term consequences of fake hormones. Men taking estrogen and women testosterone. What are the effects long term? Cancer? I'm not talking about fertility. More about diseases you may not experience normally.
