Fascism never really went away. Neither did Communism.
The Communism/Fascism division is a hackneyed one, especially as each had a murderous end, historically. Does one weigh the dead, to figure out which ideal to side with? Do we implement Fascism-Lite to combat card-carrying communists, AKA Labor unions? (*look up the origins of Thatcher's economics)
In the end it is good vs. evil. If God leaves, so does civilization.
Communism is completely dead ideology. First not having private property at all doesn't work, and second not having any competitive market mechanisms doesn't work either.
Fascism on the other hand is completely alive and getting bigger. Big government and Big corporations are now the thing of the day. And it is only getting worse and worse.
Of course returning to a true free market enterprise system with rules that level the playing field are now passe.
They don't want competition at all from anyone and are using governments to make it happen. Thus: Fascism.
It's a dead ideology to whom?
Or you mean in practice?
Facism also eliminates competitive pressures.
It does but I don't think eliminates private property completely.
Neither does Communism necessarily - look at the explosive growth of China in the past 30 years including the ability to own private property.
What they hate is risk. They hate to risk their money. Everything must be under their control so they never lose ever again. Every economy, every industry is a woke walled garden.
