I’m not so sure about this. I always thought they used rigged polls in order to give plausibility to fraudulent voting results. “Of course he/she got that many votes. Lines up with what the polls predicted.”
The polls are likely heavily skewed and twisted by the time they are reported to normies anyway.

I think the polls credibility took a massive hit after 2016.

There’s also the flip side- suppression polls where they distort the polls ahead of the election and it suppresses people from even going out and voting for their candidate because they think “oh what’s the use?”
They also distort the polls ahead of them cheating so that when they do- the numbers are on line with their fake polls.
