Neither was Harris, Swamy the Oily, and Haley.....any VP must be a natural born citizen and it goes without saying that the president must have been so as well which, of course, the kenyan was not.
I'm disappointed with the lack of concern about all the Republican candidates running for POTUS who are not eligible because they are not natural born citizens (Swamy and Haley). I had so many family members who voted for Ted Cruz in the 2015 primaries over Trump even though I told them that the "Constitutional expert" wasn't a natural born citizen. They just shrugged it off.
We are a very ignorant people now. This is a big reason why our country is in the toilet. Our Framers knew that these standards were very important but if we, the people, have no knowledge, I see no longevity in keeping our Republic.
