I feel that lead is as valuable as gold. Silver though... that's the people's money.
Why is gold so revered? It may be "rare" but is never really consumed like silver. Gold taken out of the ground is still above ground. Silver on the other hand is readily consumed and discarded. Thus increasing it's value. Reality should be closer to 2:1 vs the BS 80:1 ratio or whatever manipulated intrinsic value...
Try plating your audio/video plug connectors with lead. Trying using lead to complete your circuit boards. Perhaps I can interest you in a beautiful lead chain, or a lead ring for your significant other? You know lead is toxic and gold is inert?
I'm not even sure whay you mean by gold is not "consumed" like silver. Nearly every piece of electronics made contains gold. Sure, about 50% of the silver ever mined sits in landfills, but much of it has gold right next to it. Gold is about 1/8 as common as silver and has as many uses, plus some unique ones that silver does not. So it should realistically be closer to a 1:8 price ratio.
I challenge you to pull a raw piece of gold out of the ground and tell me that it is not a heck of a lot more special than lead.
I used to pretend that I liked silver more than gold too, before I actually learned about gold. I do think silver is highly undervalued and prices are majorly suppressed though.
Maybe he part of the plan kek. I know my liberal friend is posting his songs on his fb. Even after Rolling Stones said it's the new "alt right wing" musician.
So true, but so easy to get lost. The more money we get the more we spend. The more we spend the more we need more money for our new lifestyle. When in reality a shinier car, shiny counter tops, nicer clothes etc. don't mean shit. They don't bring happiness.
My goal is to be content in the present. Even in these timutous times be content and thankful. We don't know when our last day will come.
No matter what wealth we may or may not amass be ready to lose it all and still be content.
Cherish our family and frienships. Follow the path Jesus laid out for us. And when we fail, which we will ask for forgiveness and get back on that path.
Nothing against this dude personally. Support his message for sure. And there's nothing wrong with flavors of bluegrass. But, as a musician myself who respects a plethora of various genres, styles, and vibes.... This guy just doesn't do anything for me musically. His style feels very forced and unnatural.
Just a guess but I think it's his singing voice. It's far removed from his natural way of speaking from the interviews I've heard. It's as if he is trying to sound a certain way that either he wants to sound to himself (which is almost always a bad musical judgement call lol) or he wants to sound this way for the audience. Either way, it feels off to my ears.
not sure if you remember Mel Tillis, but that man could sing, but he couldn't talk without stuttering. many people do not sing the way they talk. you have to have range in songs, but not in a regular conversation.
A song/video which will be in top 10 soon made for under 100.00. God bless this man and his talent.
That’s awesome. I’m from DC so I appreciate the sentiment even more so.
Soothing. Thanks Qanaut

Silver is used in today's tech

His song Rich Men North of Richmond brought a whole lot of people to tears, mostly on his voice. The pain was clear. Being an empath… that song hurt.
I say it's passion. I can feel it

Almost certainly.
He never said that. He said let them in the right way.
