I have noticed this. I had three cats two passed away. The first two were sisters that were strays as kittens. They had no chip for tracking them. They were the most docile calm cuddly cats ever. They understood what you said to them and they never did any damage.
When they were seven I got a cute kitten from the pound. This cat is chipped. She never damaged anything but she is not very cuddly and she looks like she has ADD and OCD. She never sits still always moving. She will sit on your lap but jumps if you slightly move. She has many weird habits and rituals. I kiddingly say she needs Xanax.
A friend had a dog that was chipped and acted the same way. Her previous dogs were not that way but they weren't chipped.
I think the 4G and 5G affect them.
I am going to ask my vet if she can remove the chip so I can see what happens.
Imagine what this will do to humans.
Cats typically lived as loners before domestication. That's why they bury their waste. Mating is stressful for the females as well, that why cat mating sounds like a ruckus.
Often 2 cats will get along, but a third is the odd cat out. In your case they are siblings with a later cat added in.
A big benefit of having a cat over a dog is that you can leave them with food, water, and litter and be away and they will be fine. Dogs aren't loners and feel stressed EVERY time you leave.
My cat can't be left alone overnight.
She stresses.
Well, unless you get a long haired over a short haired cat, heard the matting can get really bad if left alone for too long.
Each cat has its own personality, ascribing their behavior to whether or not their microchipped is probably shortsighted. We have three cats, and each one acts in their own way, none of them unique. One hates being picked up at all, one tolerates it for a short time, the third is perfectly fine with it. One likes to cuddle under the blankets, the other will only lay on top. Its one of the joys of pets, getting to know their unique personalities.
Plus, different breeds have different general behaviors too. Some breeds are loud, some breeds are very active, etc.
Is the chipped cat a tortoiseshell? They are schitzy all on their own lol.
She is a ragdoll tortie.
Lol yep - my cousin's wife first told me about them when hers was acting a fool. Then my lil prissy cat rolled into my life and she's the schitziest, craziest cat I've ever owned, and I've owned quite a few cats lol. Hope you enjoy yours! They can be awesome
She is a queen.
Nuff said.
You've got that right!😆 And isn't it strange!?
I have had cats all my life and I can promise you that all you’re seeing with this is a difference in personalities.
I have a lot of cats at the moment. Only one is not chipped because I hand raised her and wouldn’t let anyone chip her. My chipped cats are sweeter to each other than she is to them. They’re all snuggly or needy in their own ways.
Only one is crazy and he has been since I adopted him as a kitten.
That said I’m all for not chipping pets or giving cats the vaccinations they require you to give them. I just don’t think the chip explains why your one cat is flighty. Some just are.
This is very literally silly, frog, and it's dangerous thinking to think "A friend of mine..." blah blah blah.
The chip inside a cat is simply a small capsule concealing an RFID antenna. We have these chips on our credit cards. We find them also under the shipping labels of things that we order online. When a radio transmitter passes over them, they figuratively "fluoresce" and reflect that radio wave back, but with a signature. That it. That's the tweet. That's all that's happening with these chips.
Not saying it's not possible to use the tech for evil, tho. Same chips they want us to wear. Pass thru a metal detector at the airport? ZING it checks the database (there's your Beast) and it zips back, NO FLY LIST.
No one needs to track me - all I have to say on the subject. I chip my animals solely to find them if they get out and lost. They can't talk or use a phone - I can. I don't need a chip.
Safe and effective?
I trust no one.
Interesting! You could be on to something. I breed Pyrenees, and train them before going to their new farms. A buyer asked me to take back their dog (They no longer had farm animals. He kept jumping the fence to guard the neighbor's cows, and the neighbors threatened to shoot him.) They had the dog chipped. He was so hyper and would not listen. After 6 months of trying to train him, I had to find him a new home. (I disclosed his behavior, and gave him away free.) Also, I needed another farm cat, and surprisingly couldn't find any being given away for free, so I bought a 2 month old kitten. He came chipped, and his behavior has been odd for the last 3 years we've had him. All of our unchipped animals have been loving, kind, and easily trainable. I realize that not animals are perfect, but it struck my funny that only the chipped ones have been hard to love. (None of our animals are vaxxed either, but those 2 odd ones were...another explanation.)
Thanks you.
Most commented here that it is harmless.
Ultimately. If it affected pets, ppl would not do it. Since these chips pose no harm, the ds can make the cattle take the system upgrade with little pushback
My wife has 3 cats, zero chips. Raised from kittens. Spoiled fuken rotten. Two are skiddish as hell. They dart off to hide if a car pulls in the driveway. Makes no sense.
Mine were very calm.
The chip is not for tracking. The chip is a simple strip of metal tuned to resonate at a certain frequency, communicating like, less than a kilobyte of information. Chances are that scruffy's tag is a simple alphanumeric less than 20 digits long, which functions similarly to the VIN tag on a car.
As an IT guy, this makes me roll my eyes super hard. If I owned property, had won the lottery and I weren't simply bouncing all over the country, I would probably consider implanting an RFID strip on my wrist to open my doors and whatnot.
And I am possibly the most hardcore conspiracy theorist you have ever met, I was there Jan 6th, I am aware of ET activity on earth.
But tracking in any meaningful way because of RFID is just hilariously dumb.
The ONLY place to worry about someone skimming your RFID data(aside from card skimmers installed over real readers, commonly at gas stations) is in a crowded mall or airport, because there exists a certain platform that fits into a briefcase that can skim every credit card within 20 feet or so. In this case an RFID wallet or other Faraday cage implementation is needed. So, if I got my RFID wrist chip one day, at most I would need a Faraday cage bracelet a la Copperwear to protect me from spying at the mall or airport.
TL:DR; Don't be scared of those stupid gimmicky RFID chips, they're essentially tiny pieces of metal that've been tricked into storing a tiny bit of data that can only be read within a few feet.
Well you go ahead and get it.
I refuse to trust anyone.
I also refuse to trust anyone it's a character flaw I'm working on 😅 but in all seriousness I will wait out brain chips until the fancy vs cheap ones become apparent and the fancy tech becomes affordable, self-installable, private and self-managed, verified to be in my complete control.
