The more celebrities i keep hearing and seeing this stuff about, and realizing i have no idea who they are, the more and more i appreciate the childhood my parents gave me. I’m not even 25 yet, and I'm coming to realize that I’m literally the only person i know irl my age that doesn’t know who most of these famous people even are. People think i’m crazy for never seeing movies that “literally everyone has seen a million times”, esspecciallly disney movies. They think i was sheltered, but i think i was lucky.
Most of the people i know are crazed by hollywood, disney, and the big music that they kinda force people to… i guess, consume. It’s caused me to not be able to connect with a lot of people my own age, simply because that stuff is now apparently so entrenched in the culture, that i can’t have a decent conversation with tons and tons of people. The moment someone brings up a movie “that i surely must have watched and that i’m not remembering correctly”, and i say that I’ve never actually heard of that movie or know anything remotely to what it’s about, i can tell that they all of a sudden view me as an outcast and i notice that they start treating me differently, even turning me into the punchline of a joke between themselves.
Fuck them. I would rather own my own mind than be stuck thinking about that shit. Any person like that can suck my dick i wouldn’t care if they never talked to me again.
But still, it completely blows my mind over and over again how many of these sick pop culture creeps i’ve been lucky enough to never have been exposed to growing up.

She spoke out recently about the abuse she received at boarding school she went to. You know, a very expensive school her parents picked and paid for. It broke her, I doubt it was accidental. They’re sick people the elite.
When "The Simple Life" was a thing way back when, I worked for a company that had a plant in Arkansas. Paris Hilton "dated" the son of one of the employees there. I think he even showed up on an episode or two. Never really heard anything that stood out, but I'm pretty sure his mom was relieved when production moved on to the next season. She was a slut, and that seemed to be the persona that the show was going for. Both her and Lionel Richie's daughter. I always wondered how their parents could go along with it all. It's all about the fame and admiration at the end of the day. No matter the cost.
