The cops in UK showed their true colours during the covid hoax lockdowns. Arresting seniors for sitting in the park. Busting people for standing too close to each other. We had it easy in UK as well - Australia was a whole extra fascist level of magnitude. Even people who used to be pro-cop were disgusted and turned against them. indemnity, when it comes to LE, is only related to legal protection (criminal and civil) for performing duty within the law (so you don't get politically prosecuted or sued for doing your job within guidelines). He's not suggesting cops can do whatever they want, he's suggesting that they be enabled to arrest criminals and enforce the law without the threat of frivolous political criminal/civil prosecution
There is no reason this nation can't have order if we hold accountable those who prefer disorder. Starting with those who are corrupt at every level of government.

Unless I don't understand it correctly, the idea of giving cops some kind of immunity will turn me against Trump in a heartbeat. I've never had trouble with the law, but I'll be damned if I want to live in a police state worse than what we have now.

No way should we indemnify a corrupt police state and corrupt government. We should defund government and police, excep sherriff and marshall.
