I didn’t know anything about these until a patriot fam member gifted these to me at Christmas. You can find out more on their podcast or directly from their website, http://Goldback.com.
We get ours at JM bullion.com, but we just now heard that Costco is selling gold. One of our friends buys everything at Costco, and recently they told us we should start buying gold there. LOL the joke's on them because we started buying gold years ago, long before them and Costco.
I watched a video of a guy traveling in the Utah area and stopped at a convenience store and there was a sign that said “yes we accept Goldbacks” He inquired and the clerk showed some goldbacks… First I heard of this…. Great idea imo!
I heard about Costco selling gold after posting this last night! They sell out within a few hours every time they post it for sale.
That’s a good sign that people are waking up to their real need to prep for a collapse of the economic system. That will make my coins & Goldbacks skyrocket in value & it may abolish the Fed - so I’m looking forward to it.
Theyre not investmennt pieces. The premium on them is rediculously high.then add in the cost of retrieving the gold out of them. The worst way to accumulate gold. Theyre really just a novelty.
Bah, 1/1000 @ 4 bucks per is 4,000, thats close to double the price of gold currently. Sweet spot for both gold and silver is 1 oz. Larger size only saves a small amount and smaller sized the premiums are too high.
If you want barter size buy 1 oz silver, the junk silver has too high of premium and you will get that as change for your 1 oz silver anyways.
Goldbacks are comfort food because we have become so used to paper money.
I have silver too - I agree it’s great for carrying around in lower denominations in a crisis. These lower denominations of gold will be similar & a little lighter in the pockets if they’re in Goldbacks, so I’ll be investing in both.
Yeah, I have only been stacking since last May not counting an oz of placer gold. I'm keeping my bank account low. I bought some of my stack via 0%APR across 3 credit cards and am focusing on paying them off before the 0% runs out. After that I'm going to pay our rent ahead, so I won't be buying anything else for my stack.
The Goldbacks may indeed be where we end up, they are the smallest fractional gold.
The Debt clock leads me to believe that money will be backed by all kinds of commodities.
We have some gold backs we bought a couple years ago in different denominations. They are worth however much gold is in the bill, according to the spot price.
Good point. If I were in an economic meltdown with only a $2000 Troy oz of gold in my pocket, it would be hard to get groceries, gas, etc. The lowest tiny gold coin I’ve held is worth about $250 per coin.
In a disaster situation (where gold would skyrocket in value), I would want lower denominations of metals, I’d want them from a 3rd party-vetted/trusted source & not too heavy or small (easy to lose). The Goldback is minted in 1/1000ths of a oz of gold, 5/1000ths 10, 25, and so on. All verifiable REAL gold. 1 Goldback has a coin (the size of the tip of a thick sharpie) stretched across a long, light surface that fits my wallet perfectly for the groceries & gas needed during a cyber attack, for example. We’ve only had the technology to do this to gold since 2019.
Also, Goldbacks are closer to spot value than a lot of lower denomination gold coins, so it’s a huge plus to have these stored away, in addition to a good prepper coin collection.
Don't you think that if it gets to the point where we can't buy groceries with dollars anymore that people would switch to bartering? Most people do not have any amount of gold.
Valid point. Costco is trying to change that with their sales of gold bars, lol. I agree, most normies will not be prepared unfortunately, and bartering will also be a huge part of the coming economic downturn.
It's interesting. And I guess it's easier than carrying around gold dust and needing precise scales. As long as the goldback is easy to verify and hard to counterfeit, it could work.
I've read about the times when gold was circulated commonly, over a century ago. Strange to think about it now, when the majority of people have never even seen gold coin at all, and nobody alive has spent one at face value.
A pre-1964 silver dime only weighs about 2 grams and is worth ~$2. Why would anyone want these as opposed to just carrying some tiny, lightweight silver coins for small purchases?
Honestly I love the idea of gold for purchases circa $1000 and up, but this just seems to be forcing a square peg into a round hole. I can't see it. Besides the questionable use case, it also seems awfully hard to detect counterfeiting.
I like that you can verify each piece with Goldback.com. I’ve never used these to buy goods/services, but many businesses are starting to accept it, which is a step in the Patriots’ direction.
This has not happened with coins yet (bc the economic depression is still incoming, I believe). I agree that coins are great for a crisis. These are a great swap for cash if SHTF. Here’s a consumer melting down & verifying his own Goldback: https://www.goldback.com/news/verifying-the-gold-in-a-goldback
Beautiful to look at, but I hate they way they feel -- like plastic. Overly large, hard to fold and carry, hard to count. Of course they need to be durable, but still...

Thanks for that info.

I’ve used GSI Exchange, but don’t recommend.
Sadly though, there are a whole lot of dough heads who shop at Costco. Doughheads buying gold...
Hey, the more normies with gold, the more it’s likely to become a currency that can replace the central bank
So how are these reemable if you want the actual gold? (Or are they made with a certain amount of gold)?
One Goldback is made with 1/1000th of an ounce of gold. The gold is locked between polymer sheets. You can melt it out with a kiln. This is how they’re made: https://rumble.com/v43xf7e-the-making-of-goldbacks-the-gold-awakening-podcast.html
This is an excellent idea, thanks.
Absolutely. A combo of these bills & crypto are going to bankrupt the fiat system & change the world. I can’t wait.
I'd love to see something more in-depth, it's a bit light on detail ;)
Agreed. Mike Adams (scientist) melts various Goldbacks, weighs them, and tests them for purity in this video: https://rumble.com/v40vuur-mike-adams-presents-goldback-founder-jeremy-cordon....html
I just finished watching that. The guy making the video is a bit of a charisma black hole, but the whole concept is amazing.
I love that whole communities are using them, I would love to be able to have something like that here in the Uk
Lol. It absolutely is amazing & it’s going to take over the world. As far as I know, these are investment pieces that you can purchase from anywhere.
It can all start with YOU in your country. You can keep it as an investment, like a gold collectors coin without trading it like cash.
Show it around enough & people around you may begin to agree with us. It’s a brilliant solution to a lot of economic issues worldwide.

Better off buying the coins and bars. If its to be money again, gold is for large purchases, silver is for your everyday small purchases.
It's certainly an idea whose time has come.
Mike Adams (scientist & journalist) of Natural News melts & weighs his Goldbacks in his laboratory & finds incredible results: https://rumble.com/v40vuur-mike-adams-presents-goldback-founder-jeremy-cordon....html

Very cool. Yep, I agree

I dunno. If you're actually carrying gold, and the worth is the gold you're carrying... might as well carry coins.

I could not agree more.
Ecconomic meltdown you will Need 2000 for groceries
Hah, yep, that will probably be so with Bidenflation!
Serious question. Why?

I understand this...but you need to destroy the note in order to verify it. Doesn't really sound like a practical solution for a merchant.
Well, there are lots of businesses accepting them for payment already, so it’s working for them. You can verify Goldbacks with various 3rd parties without having to melt them down, like Mike Adams’ lab: https://rumble.com/v40vuur-mike-adams-presents-goldback-founder-jeremy-cordon....html

Hah, yeah the polymer is pretty glossy, but durable, light & practical wins it over for me
