Amen. I do too. Mercy is not necessarily soft. To me Justice and mercy go hand in hand. It is merciful for a person to receive justice with an opportunity for making amends. Otherwise, the evil just continues and that's how a soul is lost.

So yes, there is a hell, and there will be folks there…and remember….it is FOREVER….the suffering will NEVER end.
Also, the one judgement we are not to do is judge heaven or hell for someone. We CAN show the correct way to live however, using the Word. By saying things such as this, Francis has taken it upon himself to judge heaven or hell.
Maybe he is anti-social and optimistic?

Just to clarify, the Bible says hell has been enlarged. Look it up.
From what I understand, for a mere $500 dollars, you can save your loved one's soul from purgatory, and send them to Heaven. That was in the 70s, I don't know how much it is now.
So why be a Socialist/Marxist? God has it all under control! When did the Pope lose his faith?
When Trump said may these bad people rot in hell...lol.
Hell is as we make it. God through Christ showed a way out of that "hell." If one holds to that faith, live a life loving God and our neighbors, then hell is of no concern.
Hell is empty right now. It will be pretty full after the Great White Throne Judgement!
