Biden wants the price of a first class stamp to be the same price as he pays for a pair of his adult diapers.
He’s a shitty president.
Amazon subsidy.
Charge everyone more for postage so that the post office can continue delivering for Amazon for cheap.
Glad I buy forever stamps
Instead of buying gold and silver 5 years ago we should have bought plywood and forever stamps.
When I did orientation to work at the post office we were told the thing bleeding them dry putting them in the red, are the campaign literature sent out by candidates who never pay their bill. Which I dont really doubt since politicians are a bunch of grifters any way. Bulk rate..it sucks processing that shit too.
Politicians have "franking rights," or basically free postage. Doesn't apply to their campaigns however.
Why is it they managed to deliver "marketing" (junk) mail on time 93.4% of time, but First Class mail only was on time only 87.5% of the time?
Looser target delivery schedule.
Forget stocks. We all should have invested in Forever stamps years ago.
Well, a 2% postage stamp price increase is rather limited, considering the rest. Compare this to the gold price, although UPU no longer uses gold, but SDR, a basket of currencies.
It is interesting to note, that on average, whether you go back pre 1971 or not, the Stamps more or less costs the same amount of gold.
when you look closely at the 68 cent stamps, there is no longer a denomination on there, nor a value. This is a deviation from standing practice to make documents into an equity document: like contracts and such.
There have been times where money was in short supply, and people used stamps, glued to a piece of carton, to exchange goods and services.
It is also interesting to note, that the Post-office was actually the first office created, even before the military where it concerns the US of A. Benji Franklyn was such a schemer and secured quite a nice loan from France to support the ongoing freedom movement.

I've never considered the possibility of the practice returning with a value based on inflation priced forever stamps. Not sure if stamps are really used much anymore. I have an envelope of forever stamps but I think it's been 10 years or more since the last time I used a real stamp.
Shit i haven't seen a mail delivery in a year or mailed anything
