Now when Trump comes back he has full freedom to fix the borders and states cant get in the way. If Biden controls the borders now and can dictate stuff. Then Trump has that responsibility as well.
This almost seems like a battle to unify what a national border is. Is it one large national border or is it a state by state separate border.
Question: whose constitutional duty is it to protect the border? A Presidents.
who can protect the border if he refuses? The State and people.
What if a state facilitates open borders and illegal entry? Thenpresident under his constitutional duty must step in.
TRUMP will already have Comstituional authority and duty to protect the border. This precedent DOES NOT reinforce that.
So then why this scene in this show?
Maybe to force those serving the federal govt to make a choice between the Constitution and Bidens dereliction of duty. Because their implementation of bidens treasonous acts implicates them in the crime. They should have refused these clearly unconstitutional orders. Border security needs to be run jointly by states and national representatives not just by the feds. If we stop having wars we can fund it easily amd conduct it peacefully.
So I agree that it's already a president authority.
I was more speaking of didn't Trump have problems setting up a border when he was in office. I know he got some done but didn't some states and places give him issues? Or am I miss remembering
They didnt. They removed a temporary injunction. Thats all they did. We are falling into the outrage trap and doing it with a flawed understanding of what actually was ruled on at SCOTUS. There was no ruling on a Constitutional issue and that is what is at the root of this. The court cases are still ongoing in the 5th Circuit. This Article 4 question will make its way to SCOTUS eventually.
You know as well as I do, the Lone Star State is this for a reason. The shear ingrained history of The Alamo will not let them all comply. They will in fact go at it alone if need be.
Don't forget all Texans are low key brainwashed for this shit. We are low key pysoped starting in middleschool to learn the ability to die just to say "fuck you" when needed.
The government does not have a right to randomly enforce laws. The Due Care clause of the constitution binds the administration into faithfully following and implementing the law. The administration is bound to congress.
Which, again, goes to show how much spinless RINOs ruin everything. They could fix this with a piece of paper in a day. What a dysfunctional group of asshats.
Anyways.. the Constitution also gives States the right to defend their own borders, and it explicitly allows Governors to call forth the Militia. Which is why the 2nd Amendment mentions the Militia by name.
The people have the guns. The states have the borders. The governor assembles the people for the common defense.
Now the Supreme Court says that's okay and you have to allow it.
NO THEY DIDNT. They removed a temporary injunction. They didnt rule on any Article 4 issue. This is still in the 5th Circuit.
Guys you need to do more than read headlines designed to lead you to outrage like sheep. The Article 4 questions at the heart of this have not made their way to SCOTUS yet.
I would reserve comment on what the SC said until I actually read what they said. I'm sure they have some convoluted reason for their ruling that makes sense to them. Doesn't mean I agree with their thinking.
Chief Justice John Roberts and Justices Amy Coney Barrett, Ketanji Brown Jackson, Elena Kagan and Sonia Sotomayor sided with the administration. Justices Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh and Clarence Thomas voted with Texas.
There's always hope, don't ever doubt that. I'm sure the Christians living in northern Italy around 450 AD thought the same thing as they saw their empire crumble around them from invading forces.
So why did the court say that Texas must comply with the treasonous US govt?

Idk though maybe I'm seeing it wrong
I think January 20th 2025 is a hell of a long way away. And I do mean hell.
Yes I agree. Though even in the chaos God is working in ways we don't always see. :)

I don't think it's a scene.
It's corruption
Ah ok I see what you are saying. Thanks.

I suspect it’s because it’s up to Con-gress.
Ok, if the government is not going to comply with the constitution, then Texas is not going to comply with the government. Fuck you freaks
The argument from Texas is a simple one.
By not doing their proper duty the Federal Government is one of the organizations that perpetuate illegal immigrant crossings.
This is a solid point.
Now the Supreme Court says that's okay and you have to allow it.
You know as well as I do, the Lone Star State is this for a reason. The shear ingrained history of The Alamo will not let them all comply. They will in fact go at it alone if need be.
Piss off them Texas Rangers and see what happens. Law enforcement not baseball.
Yeah well many of those Bb agents are a texan so somebody needs to tell them to stand down.
First thing in my mind as a native Texan.

Perfectly said. We Ther People need to step in now. Back up the national gard

Why not just post the amendment instead of what some Twitter random posted?
It may but through Christ we have hope
