Remember, this is the Comex FED Casino. Since Silver has not been legally emancipated to the point of a first tier asset, the game still goes on, like it was 2022 in the Gold market.
They know they are wrong footed betting against monetary metals .....
If they pull it, then probably a revaluation is incoming.
This. I'd only stack palladium if it dropped lower AND I already had a hefty stack of "traditional" real money....gold and silver. $900 palladium can buy you a kilo bar and change in silver, which is more game changing IMO. I have platinum, but purchased all when it was ~$800 or a bit lower maybe.
Palladium is important for industrial purposes but it doesn't have a broad retail market like gold or silver. I just don't think it's going to enjoy the more widespread adoption when the masses of people realize the dollars in their bank are worthless.
Palladium makes up the matrix for cold fusion reactions. Once the info on cold fusion becomes more mainstream, the price of palladium will likely rise substantially.
Having said that, even though palladium was the first cold fusion matrix doesn't mean it's the only one. It may not be necessary for that tech and probably isn't, so it may not see a meaningful increase is demand.
Your body wieght in silver. Your age in gold. This applies to your spouse and children as well. Or 1oz of gold for every 100oz of silver.
You want to as debt free as possible. Have 6 months or so of emergency cash. You dont want something to pop up and make you sell your stack.
Buy what you can, when you can. Dont worry too much about what the price is doing untill you are ready to buy or sell.
In the beginning buy the cheapest stuff you can find. Dont worry about the expensive stuff like silver eagles and such till you have around 500+ ounces of the cheaper stuff.
The bigger online bullion dealers usually have palladium on-hand, but for smaller ones, stock may come and go. APMEX and JMbullion are the two biggest online names.....but also come with the biggest online premiums.
I'd still recommend sticking with silver if you're looking to get into metals - you just get so much more for your fiat in terms of historical value.
Palladium is in the Platinum group of metals, and both are used in catalytic converters. Not sure about other uses, I have none. However I have almost a 50/50 split of gold and silver.
Unfortunately both were higher when I started stacking, but I'm within a few percent of what I paid, its the premiums on silver that screw you. I had cash in the bank that I needed to be safer, keep my bank accounts lower than since I was a teen.
I also leveraged my high credit rating to get 3 CC with welcome bonus AND 0%. I have already paid off 2/3rds of the credit having paid no interest.
APMEX is not usually the cheapest option, but they have a CC that refunds the CC upcharge of 4% towards future purchases. Current Offer is 150 Welcome Cash for spending 1,500, buying 1 oz of gold or 1,500 of silver gets you way below spot.
You can use the welcome cash from other cards, and buy from any online, but you won't get the upcharge of the metals dealer for CC back.
APMEX selling secondhand gold bars @ 2078 -150 gets you down to 1928 and then you have the 83 in dollars (points )
You can use the welcome bonus and the 0% APR period in combo for other purchases including groceries and also whatever cash back points.
Amex gives me 3% back on Grocery Stores (No Walmart,Target, or CostCo) I forget what the welcome bonus and 0% APR term was, years ago. You can upgrade this AMEX to get 6%, but for us its not worth the annual fee starting year 2.
I get a kick out people who tell you they don't use credit... All fiat money is credit.
I just got a couple Amex as well , even macys sent me a Amex I don’t shop macys but Im Using it to get the cash back options on all other purchases . Discover has a couple good cards to , I have 2 different ones in one year I got checks totaling well over 800 dollars from the points that they turn into cash , I called to see how the flight miles worked on one of them and she said or “we can just send u a check , right now you have 542.00 dollars” I said .. send the check lol , . I use it for everything, and pay off the balance each month . Nearly a 1000 in one year of free money .
I lived abroad from 2017-2020 and didn't use CC, several close my accounts. When I returned to the USA and applied, I got the cards that canceled welcome bonuses again! Silly Banks, Trix are for Kids.
You can also avail of checking account welcome bonuses, but be careful, they make it hard for seniors by giving you a tight window on the required direct deposits. They will require 2 at those banks and SS is slow, payroll direct deposits change to the new bank faster. They also will let you re-open new accounts after xxx amount of time goes by and get those bonuses again.
Banks pulled 50% of all silver shorts last week.. something big is coming.... https://rumble.com/v49r913-banks-pulled-50-of-all-shorts-on-silver...-something-big-is-coming-w-dr.-ki.html
This deserves it's own post

If you want to talk historic lows, silver has them all beat, it's quite possibly the cheapest ever in human history, and has been so for a century.

So what's a good amount to stack?
I'm kind of new to the metal game.
I just started prepping my household so any info would be appreciated.

So where do you buy palladium?
