Adoption agencies and states are the problem. They sell children. At 25K-50K per adoption. That was one of the reasons people started adopting outside the USA. There should be no fee and you should be allowed to adopt from any state. Lots of states don't let you adopt unless you live in that state, because the state makes money on phycological visits you have to continue on with after you adopt. If the child needs help any state could provide that same help with doctors if needed. Point here is Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee. Arkansas has lots of great kids that need adopting....try doing it. We did and the process is so bad it's unreal. If they wanted to help the kids they could, until the STATE QUITS selling children for profit and turns it back to normal citizens, it's only for those who have a ton of cash.
It's a hell of a racket
Having adopted three foster children and one adult child who was forced to age out of foster care, my assessment of the cost is entirely different than yours. Private agencies are certainly expensive, but CPS/foster-to-adopt programs are absolutely not. We were not required to take children to any state psychologic exams or visits post-adoption. Yes, there are a LOT of hoops to jump through, but these children need homes.

I took particular interest in the child trafficking of the government during Pizzagate research (because fortunately / unfortunately the problem is so vast that it leads to many rabbit holes) and what I found was a lot of people who wanted to adopt ended up denied for many reasons, which left a lot of children to be kicked around through the system to be abused or exploited throughout their lives.
I'm glad you were able to do such a part to get some out of the cycle.

Yes, this is too often the case. And that may be why this movie is so important. We have to break the foster care system by overwhelming it with so many loving, Christian homes that children are never left in need.

I see your anger, but I believe it may be misdirected. CPS is not the bad guy this board makes it out to be (though I understand everyone has different experiences). This trailer is a call out to churches to serve the orphan as scripture tells them to do.

I happen to hate CPS for very real and serious reasons. They take kids when they shouldn't.
I did my time with CPS , I know here in Cali,, there is an agenda, and children do disappear , there is money to be made with children and there are always people looking for money ! I am going to watch , I just couldn’t do until I had my coffee lol .. thank you Fren !
Post title is misleading. This movie trailer indicates it's about the members of a church in a tight-knit community rising up to adopt children out of the foster care system.
