Probably not. Some independents will refuse. Brokers will pay more until the loads get picked up. Truck drivers working for businesses with their own distribution lines will continue delivering because that’s their job.

Some truckers work for trucking companies though and don’t own their own rigs. So some company will just take over those shipments and make more money and force the drivers to deliver there.
Watch how quickly NYC goes down hill. I pray for the poor people who will be affected the most.

I used to live in NYC. It's gonna take a looooooooooooooooooong time before many of the people there experience that particular meetup.
When the people hear that the Truckers won't deliver, the stores will get cleaned out quickly. It won't take that long.
