Some newer cars are coming with driver AND passenger recognition cameras to "help customize your car when you get in". What you mentioned is exactly what these assholes are up to. It's just crazy to me that people don't seem to care or notice.
That is dressed up by keeping everyone "safer" because obviously then no one will speed past the limit or make crazy maneuvers or slide into your lane with no turn signal nor even any intent to do so, but because they're braindead.
Oh wait much of that is already illegal, but enforcement doesn't happen so they need to take it directly from them!
This sort of conversation always reminds me of the song "Monitor" by Siouxsie and the Banshees.
I once worked a contract job for Redflex, the Australian-owned intersection camera company. In the lobby they had a big screen TV showing all sorts of horrible car accidents that were caught by their intersection cameras. It was a job and I needed one. While I was there, I was noticing things and making remarks like, "It seems that these cameras don't actually prevent these terrible accidents, but rather just capture them for the benefit of police and lawyers." Oh boy, they didn't like hearing that and I didn't last long. I also was looking into how those cameras can actually cause accidents, especially when people might suddenly slam their brakes because they are too anxious to avoid the camera taking a picture of them and they end up getting rear-ended.
What do you think of traffic & pedestrian surveillance systems?
I think all of the "proposals" in the questionnaire already exists and are widely deployed throughout the world.
I don't know what this guy wants, but there is nothing new here. The questions themselves are worded problematically, but it isn't too difficult to let the "investigator" know that such systems are not intended to help We The People.
Cameras seem fitting, since they say "all the world is a stage"....they just forget to mention that the "stage" is actually the set from Lord Of The Flies.
Just part of Big Brother with 24 hour eyes on you system!
They are gay as fuk.
Then linked with smart cars to instantly ticket, have trial, and fined within seconds. Then funds taken straight from account.

Electronic slave collars.
Don't spoil agenda 2030! We aren't there yet!

You know what I learned one of my driving schools.
Always drive with your advisor down. I drive with my visor down 24 seven.
If you get a ticket, if they can’t see 2/3 of your face, they can’t mail it to you
I’m going to assume this might apply to other surveillance tactics
VISORS DOWN!
Cameras will be the first things we take out when things start to really heat up
